【摘要】：语篇的衔接既可以通过语言表层的、有形的衔接手段来完成,也可以通过语言深层的、无形的衔接手段来实现。前者指语篇的显性衔接手段,后者指语篇的隐性衔接手段。中外学者对于显性衔接的研究成果已经非常丰富,但关于隐性衔接的研究并不多见。散文作为一种主要的文学体裁,它的形式自由,语言优美,情感真挚,具有很高的文学价值。显性和隐性的衔接手段在散文中的运用都十分广泛,因此散文翻译中的衔接处理值得我们重视。目前的散文翻译研究集中于美学视角或者风格视角,很少有人从衔接角度,尤其是从隐性衔接角度来研究散文翻译,因此从语篇隐性衔接视角对汉英散文翻译做出论述是一个较好的尝试和补充。本文首先梳理了隐性衔接以及汉英散文翻译在国内外的研究现状,基于语篇衔接理论,举例说明了英汉语言中的隐性衔接现象。然后本文通过对比分析英汉隐性衔接手段的差异,探讨了隐性衔接的形成机制。研究结果表明:英汉两种语言里都存在隐性衔接,但是英语多用显性衔接,而汉语多用隐性衔接,这是由于语言和文化的差异造成的。中西文化差异使得人们对于同一个事物或概念会产生不同的理解和阐释。语言的使用离不开文化的影响,而语言的理解离不开语境的支持。因此,隐性衔接的翻译必须在充分理解文化和语境的基础上展开。接着本文讨论了语境的定义和分类,从情景语境和文化语境两个方面,结合多篇散文英译作品,分析隐性衔接的表现方式及其翻译,并探讨译者在处理隐性衔接时的翻译方法,最后概括出隐性衔接翻译的一般规律,为汉英散文翻译中的隐性衔接处理提供参考。
