《中国竞争力—联想案例研究》汉译实践报告

　　本翻译材料选自美国战略与国际研究中心智库,全文约1.4万英文单词,作者为纳撒尼尔·阿伦斯（Nathaniel Ahrens）和周宇（Zhou Yu）。原文属于典型的经济文本,包括联想公司崛起的因素、与国际同行竞争的现状、政府政策对竞争力的影响、与美日间的关系等等,翻译起来具有一定难度。笔者运用李长栓教授提出的“理解、表达、取舍”框架来分析本次翻译实践中的案例,探讨具体翻译过程应使用的工具和翻译方法。在文章理解部分,笔者通过查找字典和查阅平行文本来帮助理解原文;在表达部分,笔者通过调整语序、巧用成语、化抽象为具体来提高表达质量;同时,笔者在表达过程中遇到翻译难点时,采用增译、减译、倒置、转换四种方法提高译文质量。通过本次翻译实践,笔者受益匪浅。首先,笔者要正确理解原文,这里的正确理解不仅指字面上的意思,还指原文作者对文章所持的立场。同时,笔者也深刻意识到要做好翻译工作,源语和目的语能力都要过硬。最后,由于中英句式结构极大不同,在英汉翻译过程中应使句式结构符合中国人的阅读习惯,避免翻译腔,希望本报告为其他同学撰写实践报告提供些许参考。
