Britain’s Europe 汉译实践中的明晰化策略研究

　　由于中英文两种语言的不同性质和中英文读者隶属不同的文化体系,中文读者较难理解英文尤其是历史类文本中的许多隐含意义、抽象意义和文化信息。如果译者保留源文本的所有表层结构,这将会阻碍读者的理解过程。这引发了笔者如何处理英文历史类文本中的模糊化现象的思考。本报告选择运用明晰化策略来分析Britain’s Europe:A Thousand Years of Conflict and Cooperation其中第六章的翻译。这本书是一部时间跨度长、涵盖复杂的历史问题和政治讨论的历史著作。语言风格较为抽象和晦涩。因此,笔者认为该文本适于运用明晰化策略来说明译文是如何在意义、逻辑和文化信息的传递方面都变得更加明确和清晰的。本报告从词汇层面、句子层面和语篇层面分析了翻译过程中的明晰化策略是如何发挥作用的。在每一个层面上,笔者通过分析实例总结出具体的翻译技巧,包括增译、仿译和结构重组等。在词汇层面上,本报告从近义词的概念意义明晰化、多义词的概念意义明晰化、历史术语的文化信息明晰化和隐喻的语用含义明晰化四个角度对明晰化策略及其具体应用技巧进行了探讨。在句子层面上,明晰化策略主要表现为结构重组和增译两种技...
