《跨文化能力百科全书》（第20-44页）翻译实践报告

　　跨文化交际是发生在不同文化背景人们之间的沟通,密切的跨文化交流是当今世界的一个重要特征,因此,跨文化能力在贸易、教育、外交、科技等领域的地位日益凸显。跨文化教育不应限于客观的、可见的文化产品上,而应关注培养认知言语行为、非言语行为、信念与价值观的跨文化能力,从而实现各文化背景下的有效互动。因此,笔者在导师的指导下确定《跨文化能力百科全书》一书为翻译任务。该书主编是跨文化研究学者Janet M.Bennett,美国跨文化交流学院联合创始人及现任院长。该书出版于2015年,主要借助跨文化理论及案例探讨了从认识文化差异,适应文化差异,到文化融合的各个阶段,旨在培养跨文化能力。笔者承担的翻译任务包括《跨文化能力百科全书》第20页至第44页,主要探究了同化、假设与信念、归因理论、信念、价值观、规范、习俗、多样性和包容性的基准、双种族身份、身势学、案例分析方法等十余专业术语及跨文化理论。按照纽马克的文本类型理论,该书可划归为信息类文本,又兼含表达类文本的特点。鉴于此,笔者以交际翻译为主,语义翻译为辅。本报告由五个部分组成。第一部分介绍翻译项目;第二部分是翻译过程;第三部分阐述理论框架;第四部分是基...
