《让历史见证光荣》(节选)汉译英翻译实践报告

随着经济全球化的不断发展,越来越多的企业需要对外加强经济交流与合作,企业外宣文本的翻译成为热门翻译文本类型之一。翻译不仅是语言的转换,更是信息的传递。《让历史见证光荣》一书,内容涉及中国历史文化信息,包含大量汉语文化负载词和汉语成语,并多处引用汉语诗歌,具有一定的翻译价值和研究价值。本文是一篇汉译英翻译实践报告,源语文本是选自河南中烟新郑卷烟厂出版的《让历史见证光荣》一书中所收录的15枚烟标的文字介绍,共计汉字12128字。本篇报告以笔者此次的汉译英实践为基础,总结了在翻译过程中遇到的汉语文化负载词中的文化空缺英译问题,汉语诗歌英译中对意思传达和韵味保留的取舍问题,以及汉语外宣文本中繁复的修辞和冗余表达的英译问题。笔者分别在诺德的“功能加忠诚”原则、许渊冲的“三美”原则以及黄友义的“贴近译语读者的思维和语言习惯”原则的指导下,分析解决上述三个英译问题。本报告的主要内容分为四个部分:第一章是翻译任务描述,主要介绍了翻译任务的来源和背景,对源语文本进行了详细的分析,并简述了翻译实践的目的和意义;第二章是翻译过程,包括译前准备,译中描述和译后事项,详细叙述了整个翻译过程中所做的准备、翻译时所...
