中外理科学术论文英文摘要语步中元话语名词比较研究

　　本文主要研究元话语名词在国内外学术期刊英文摘要各类语步中的应用情况。Zellig Harris(1959)提出元话语(Metadiscourse)指“文本中不添加任何命题内容的自我反思的语言材料,是关于话语的话语”(Crismore,1993;Hyland,2004)。Jiang和Hyland(2016,2017)在元话语的基础上提出了元话语名词(Metadiscursive nouns):指标记篇章结构并塑造读者篇章理解的名词资源。由于元话语名词从属于抽象名词的范畴,因此这一概念除固定的含义外也包含不同语境下产生的语用意义(如fact,attitude,idea等),在学术论文中起着不可忽视的作用。名词化是元话语名词中的一个重要的分支(Yoon C.,2017),作为一种有效的衔接手段,能够将前面篇章中表达形式为动词,形容词,从句或句子的话语压缩成单个名词或词组为后面的命题提供已知信息。因此名词化在学术论文中的作用与元话语名词的功能有很多共同之处:既是一种衔接手段,也是一种立场表达。元话语名词相关研究主要集中在描述性研究与实证性研究两类。描述性研究多从元话语名词的搭配、功能、分类等理...
