莱斯文本类型理论指导下《电子科大与鲁昂高工学院合作办学协议》翻译报告

在全球化的影响下,各国高校之间的合作越来越紧密。在此趋势下,国内高校注重自身的国际化发展,加强国际教育交流合作,中外高校教育合作协议应运而生。作为中外合作办学最重要的文本,具有法律效应的协议文本是项目审批和运行的基础,因此协议的翻译至关重要。我国对外合作办学近年来发展迅速,教育行政部门开始关注并逐渐重视此类协议翻译。本报告以《电子科大与法国鲁昂高工学院合作办学协议》汉译英翻译为基础。本报告分析了原文本的语言特征,在词汇层面多用专业术语和正式用语,在句法层面上多用长难句和主动语态,在篇章层面上多用结构性格式和强烈的逻辑。在莱斯文本类型理论视角下,文本类型是影响译者选择合适翻译方法的主要因素。原文本是合作办学协议,文本功能主要是信息功能,属于信息型文本。莱斯认为,信息型文本旨在传递信息,翻译时应以目的语为导向,要求准确、忠实、完整地再现原文内容。根据莱斯对信息型文本翻译策略的阐述,结合原文本合作办学协议的特点,研究认为此类翻译应遵循准确性、通顺性和一致性原则。基于这三种原则,本文在词汇、句法和篇章三个层面,根据汉英协议用语差异提出具体的翻译方法来达到信息型文本的翻译要求。在词汇层面,通过保留...
