基于感知学习风格的初中英语词汇教学研究

【摘要】：词汇是英语中最基本的单位,是发展其他英语语言技能的前提和基础,因此,英语词汇教学在英语教学中占有举足轻重的地位。然而,目前我国初中的英语词汇教学存在一些不足之处。初中生没有足够的有效的学习英语词汇的方法。感知学习风格是一个描述学习者个体差异的理论,是学习者用一种或多种感知渠道去学习和记忆知识的过程。感知学习风格与近年来我国倡导的因材施教、以学习者为中心有异曲同工之处,现在它已经受到越来越多的关注。然而,许多研究者将感知学习风格应用到英语阅读教学中,并且研究对象以大学生或高职学生为主,而将感知学学习风格应用到中学英语词汇教学中的研究则未受到足够的重视。本研究将感知学习风格应用到初中英语词汇教学中,目的是为了帮助初中生增强他们的英语自主学习能力,以及掌握英语词汇的能力。因此,本研究选取保定市中海中学八年级的两个班进行对照实验,着力解决以下两个问题:1.感知学习风格是否能提高初中生的英语自主学习能力?2.感知学习风格能否提高初中生掌握英语词汇的能力?本研究通过问卷调查、测试、访谈等方法收集相关数据和信息,并用SPSS17.0对所收集的数据和信息进行深入分析,实验结果发现:在经过基于感知学习风格的教学后,学生的英语自主学习能力显著提高,并且学生掌握英语词汇的能力也明显提高。本次研究证实了感知学习风格在初中英语词汇教学中的有效性,为初中生找到了一种切实可行的学习英语词汇的方法。
