汉语恭维应答语的变异与变化研究

【摘要】：恭维是人类日常交际中常见的一种礼貌言语行为,不仅可以缩短彼此间的社会距离,而且可以传递美好的情感，保持良好的人际关系。随着时代的变迁，社会经济的变化以及语言本身的动态性，恭维语和恭维应答语不断发生变化。 本研究以礼貌原则和变异理论为指导，以湘潭地区100名不同性别、年龄、教育水平的汉语母语者为调查对象，运用自然观察法和访谈法，对他们日常生活中的语言进行观察录音，并对汉语中恭维语应答模式的变化与变异进行了共识描写，最后利用Goldvarb X软件和Excel(20003)对所收集到的语料进行了统计分析。 本研究把收集的恭维语及其应答的相关数据和贾玉新1997年研究的相关的数据进行了对比，，主要探索三个方面的问题:(1)汉语恭维应答语的总体分布情况；(2)恭维语及其应答语是否发生了变化，具体表现在哪些方面；(3)不同年龄，性别，教育程度群体的恭维应答语是否存在差异，有何差异。 研究结果表明：恭维语的词汇、恭维语使用的句型，恭维的话题以及恭维语应答的方式发生了变化。在恭维语词汇方面，人们仍然更倾向于使用形容词和副词来表达恭维，但是动词的使用明显增加。在恭维语句型方面，虽然使用比例最多的恭维语句型Your NP(ADV) ADJ没有发生显著变化,但是比例下降了，句型如I (ADV) like NP使用的频率明显增加。在恭维语话题上，对外貌的恭维占主要的比例，以前的研究表明极少人会对外貌进行恭维，这与之前的研究结果完全不同。在恭维应答语的选择策略上更倾向于使用接受策略，而拒绝恭维的策略使用最少。同时，社会变量如性别，年龄，教育程度对恭维语应答的选择会有一定的影响。几乎一半的男性和女性倾向于选择接受恭维的策略。然而,男性比女性选择更多的拒绝策略。在不同的年龄群体中，三个群体都较多的选择接受应答策略。而老年群体是使用拒绝策略最多的群体。在不同的受教育程度的群体中，受教育水平在大学及以上的群体比其他群体使用更多的接受策略。受教育程度低于高中水平的群体使用拒绝恭维策略的频率最高。 中国人汉语恭维语和恭维应答语发生改变主要是受传统观念，文化和社会这三方面的影响。考察汉语恭维应答语的变化与变异一方面让二语习得者对汉语礼貌言语行为及准则有更全面的了解，另一方面有助于提高中国人的跨文化交际水平。
