影响农村初中英语新手教师专业发展的主要因素分析

【摘要】：新手英语教师作为教师专业发展的起步阶段,对教师的专业发展生涯起着关键作用。新手英语教师有着自身独特的优势,他们年轻富有朝气,对生活、工作充满热情,有强烈的求知欲,富有创新意识和敢为人先的精神。然而,新手英语教师也是一个充满矛盾的群体。由于缺乏足够的教学经验、不能合理使用相关的教学方法,面对工作生活中遇到的困难和挫折,容易在困难面前被击倒。如果新手教师不能受到正确的指引以及自身状态的及时调整,很容易产生消极心理,对整个教师生涯的专业发展将会产生负面影响。农村初中英语教育做为我国初中英语教育的一个组成部分,关系着我国未来教育的发展和人才的培养。然而由于地理、环境、风土人情等不同因素的影响,农村地区依然是我国教育发展的薄弱地区,尤其是农村初中新手英语教师专业发展,亟待提升,不容忽视。为了研究影响农村初中新手英语教师专业发展的主要因素,本研究选取来自湖北省某县18所乡镇中学已经工作1-5年的89位新手英语教师为研究对象。从调查农村初中新手英语教师专业发展的现状入手,对影响农村初中新手英语教师专业发展的因素做重点分析,并就如何提高农村地区教师专业发展提出建议。通过问卷调查和半结构访谈,本研究表明:第一,农村地区新手初中英语教师专业发展现状表现为:1)新手初中英语教师学历较高,84%的教师毕业于本科院校;2)男女教师性别比较悬殊,男教师严重缺乏;3)工作任务重;4)大部分学校地处偏远,教师不得不住校;5)新手英语教师工资普遍偏低。第二,影响农村新手英语教师专业发展的因素主要分为:外部因素和内部因素。外部因素包括:社会因素、学校因素、家庭因素;内部因素包括:教师专业发展意识、教师信念、教师知识、教师能力、教师专业发展态度和动机。第三,新手英语教师希望通过师徒制,合作学习、参加继续教育培训、公开课、自主实践学习等方式提高教师自身专业发展。基于以上研究结果,本研究分别从社会方面、学校方面、家庭方面、新手英语教师自身四个方面提出不同的建议,希望能够引起更多的学者对农村初中新手英语教师专业发展的关注,也希望对以后的相关研究有所帮助。
[Abstract]:As the starting stage of teachers' professional development, novice English teachers play a key role in the professional development of teachers. Novice English teachers have their own unique advantages. They are young and energetic, passionate about life and work, eager to learn, innovative and courageous. However, novice English teachers are also a paradoxical group. Due to lack of sufficient teaching experience and unreasonable use of related teaching methods, facing difficulties and setbacks in work and life, it is easy to be knocked down in front of difficulties. If the novice teachers can't be guided properly and their status is adjusted in time, it is easy to produce negative psychology, which will have a negative impact on the professional development of the entire teacher career. English education in rural junior middle school is a part of English education in junior middle school in China, which is related to the development of our future education and the cultivation of talents. However, due to the different factors such as geography, environment, local conditions and so on, the rural area is still a weak area of education development in China, especially the rural junior middle school novice English teachers' professional development. In order to study the main factors affecting the rural junior middle school English novice teachers' professional development, this study selected 89 novice English teachers from a county in Hubei province 18 Township Middle School has 1-5 years working as a research object. Based on the survey of the professional development of novice English teachers in rural junior middle schools, this paper analyzes the factors that influence the professional development of novice English teachers in rural junior middle schools, and puts forward suggestions on how to improve teachers' professional development in rural areas. Through the questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview, the research shows that: first, performance status of the professional development of novice English teachers in junior high schools in rural areas: 1) higher education novice English teachers in junior middle school, 84% teachers graduated from colleges; 2) teachers' gender comparison between male teacher shortage; 3) heavy task; 4 most of the schools) remoteness, teachers have to live on campus; 5) English novice teachers generally low wages. Second, the factors that affect the professional development of rural novice English teachers are mainly divided into external and internal factors. External factors include social factors, school factors and family factors. Internal factors include teachers' professional development consciousness, teachers' beliefs, teachers' knowledge, teachers' ability, teachers' professional development attitude and motivation. Third, novice English teachers hope to improve their professional development through mentoring, cooperative learning, continuing education and training, open classes, and self practice learning. Based on the above findings, this study proposes different suggestions from the society, school and family, novice English teachers' own four aspects, hoping to arouse more attention of scholars of rural junior high school English novice teachers' professional development, hoping to help the relevant research to.
