图式理论应用于高中英语阅读教学中的实证研究

【摘要】：人们通过阅读获取各种信息,在培养学生综合语言运用能力的过程中,阅读占据着重要的地位。因此,阅读教学在高中英语教学中一直扮演着重要角色。然而,受应试教育和语法翻译法等传统阅读教学方法的影响,高中英语阅读教学仍停留在只重视词汇和语法教学层面上,学生的阅读兴趣不高,缺乏背景知识,学生的英语阅读能力不能得到提高。作为英语老师,如果想提高学生的阅读能力,就要对学生进行科学有效的阅读方法和策略指导,并能够将理论应用于实践,达到高效阅读的目的。图式理论认为,阅读是读者头脑中已经存在的图式和新信息发生碰撞而建立起来的新图式的过程,图式理论有助于提高学生英语阅读能力,尤其是在情感态度和文化意识方面。在对图式理论的定义、分类、理论发展及其应用的国内外研究进行系统梳理的基础上,笔者选取宁夏南部山区某市一高级中学的高一年级学生作为调查对象,进行英语阅读现状调查,分析学生在英语阅读方面存在的问题,将图式理论应用到高中英语阅读教学,并进行了实验研究,充分证明图式理论能够有效提高学生英语阅读能力。
[Abstract]:Reading plays an important role in the development of students' comprehensive language use ability. Therefore, reading teaching has always played an important role in senior high school English teaching. Under the influence of traditional reading teaching methods such as exam-oriented education and grammar translation, English reading teaching in senior high school is still focused on vocabulary and grammar teaching. Students' reading interest is not high and they lack background knowledge. As an English teacher, if we want to improve students' reading ability, we should give them scientific and effective reading methods and strategies, and be able to apply the theory to practice. Schema theory holds that reading is the process of the new schema established by the collision between the existing schema and the new information in the reader's mind. Schema theory is helpful to improve students' English reading ability, especially in the aspect of emotional attitude and cultural consciousness, as well as the definition and classification of schema theory. On the basis of systematic research on the development of theory and its application at home and abroad, the author chooses the first grade students of a senior middle school in a city in the southern mountainous area of Ningxia as the object of investigation to investigate the present situation of English reading. This paper analyzes the problems existing in English reading of students, applies schema theory to English reading teaching in senior high school, and makes an experimental study, which fully proves that schema theory can effectively improve students' English reading ability.
