初中生英语学习自我效能感与自主学习的相关性研究

【摘要】:随着当今社会科学技术的迅猛发展,培养学生自主学习成为英语教学的重要目标之一.Holec(1981)认为自主学习就是一种学生对自己学习负责的能力;Schunk(1994)将自主学习定义为学生激活和维持认知、行为的过程,并且影响学习目标的实现。拥有自主学习能力的人更能够进行目标确立、学习内容和策略选择、学习过程监控和学习效果评价(Dickinson,1993)。此外,自我效能感被看作是影响自主学习的一个重要的内在因素。Bandura(1986)认为自我效能感指的是对学习者自己学习和行为表现的能力的一种信念。自我效能感影响学习者学习任务的选择、坚持程度、努力程度和技能(Schunk,2004),与学生的学习动机,学习效果都有着千丝万缕的联系。鉴于自我效能感能够激发和改善自主学习,本研究试图在初中学校来探讨学生英语学习自我效能感和英语自主学习的现状。分析他们之间的相关性,找出提升他们的具体方法,以此来提高此类学校的英语教学。本研究以官渡区板桥中学153名初中学生为受试对象,涉及初一49名学生,初二55名学生和初三49名学生,进行定量研究。研究工具为自我效能感量表和自主学习调查表,运用SPSS(17.0)和EXCEL进行数据统计分析。数据分析结果表明:1)初中学生英语自我效能感和英语自主学习的情况整体上处于中等水平;2)初中学生英语自我效能感和英语自主学习在性别、年级和学习成绩上均存在着显著差异:女同学的自我效能感和自主学习能力明显优于男同学;初一年级学生高于初二年级学生,初二年级学生高于初三年级学生;学习成绩高的学生的自我效能感和自主学习能力高于学困生;3)初中学生英语自我效能感和英语自主学习能力两者之间存在显著正相关;4)初中学生英语学习成绩和英语自我效能感、英语自主学习能力三者之间存在显著正相关;5)英语学习策略、学习资源、间接经验和评价方式以及直接成功经历和言语劝说是强化自我效能感的主要来源。基于本研究的发现,本文肯定了学生的自我效能感和自主学习在语言教学中的重要作用,并根据自我效能感和自主学习分别提出了一些行之有效的教学建议。从而更好地帮助初中学校的学生更加积极主动的进行英语学习。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of science and technology in today's society. One of the important goals of English teaching is to cultivate students' autonomous learning. Holecke 1981) holds that autonomous learning is a kind of students' ability to be responsible for their own learning. Schunkian (1994) defines autonomous learning as the process by which students activate and maintain cognition and behavior and affect the achievement of learning goals. People with autonomous learning ability are more able to set goals. Learning content and strategy selection, learning process monitoring and learning effect evaluation. Self-efficacy is seen as an important internal factor affecting autonomous learning. Self-efficacy is defined as a belief in learners' ability to learn and behave themselves. Self-efficacy affects learners' choice of learning tasks. The degree of persistence, the degree of effort and the skill are closely related to the students' learning motivation and learning effect. In view of the self-efficacy, self-efficacy can stimulate and improve autonomous learning. This study attempts to explore the current situation of students' sense of self-efficacy in English learning and English autonomous learning in junior high school, analyze the correlation between them, and find out the specific ways to improve them. In order to improve the English teaching in such schools, this study takes 153 junior high school students in Banqiao Middle School of Guandu District as subjects, involving 49 students of Grade one, 55 students of Grade two and 49 students of Grade three. Quantitative study was carried out. The research tools were self-efficacy scale and autonomous learning questionnaire. Using SPSS 17.0) and EXCEL to carry on the data statistical analysis. The result shows that the English self-efficacy and the English autonomous learning of the junior middle school students are in the middle level as a whole; 2) there are significant differences in gender, grade and academic achievement between English self-efficacy and autonomous English learning of junior middle school students: female students' sense of self-efficacy and autonomous learning ability are obviously superior to male students; The first grade students are higher than the second grade students, the second grade students are higher than the third grade students; The self-efficacy and autonomous learning ability of the students with high academic achievement were higher than those of the students with learning difficulties. 3) there is a significant positive correlation between English self-efficacy and autonomous learning ability of junior high school students; 4) there is a significant positive correlation among English learning achievement, English self-efficacy and English autonomous learning ability of junior middle school students; 5) English learning strategies, learning resources, indirect experiences and evaluation methods, direct success experiences and verbal persuasion are the main sources of enhancing self-efficacy, based on the findings of this study. This paper affirms the importance of students' self-efficacy and autonomous learning in language teaching. According to the sense of self-efficacy and autonomous learning, this paper puts forward some effective teaching suggestions, so as to help the students of junior high school to study English more actively.
