20世纪20年代中学国文教育领域的文、白论争

【摘要】:近代伴随着列强的入侵,国人逐渐认识到教育的普及关系着国家的富强,而教育的普及又与文字学习的便利、普及密切相关。由于新学制刚刚颁布,初级中学、高级中学分设,白话文得以"合法"进入中学国文教科书,白话文在承载现代知识、思想上,有独到的优势,中学生在学校学习规范的白话文,有利于现代文明的快速、广泛传播。但由于当时的北洋政府只是形式上的中央政府,还不具备控制全国局面的实力,虽然政府通过了新学制课程纲要,但对课程、教科书的约束力还不是绝对有效,以致国文、国语课程并设,文白混编教科书、纯白话、纯文言教科书并行。
[Abstract]:With the invasion of the great powers in modern times, Chinese people gradually realized that the popularization of education is related to the prosperity and strength of the country, and the popularization of education is closely related to the convenience of the study of writing. Vernacular has been able to "legally" enter Chinese textbooks in middle schools. Vernacular characters have unique advantages in carrying modern knowledge and ideas. The standard vernacular writing of middle school students is conducive to the rapid development of modern civilization. But because the Beiyang government at that time was only a formal central government and did not have the strength to control the national situation, although the government adopted the curriculum outline of the new school system, the binding force on the curriculum, the textbooks, was not absolutely effective. As a result, the Chinese language, Mandarin curriculum and set up, a mixture of text and white textbooks, pure white, pure classical Chinese textbooks parallel.
