锦州市高中英语教师专业发展调查研究

【摘要】:教师专业发展包括教师的职业认同度,教师的专业知识和技能与教师的专业发展的需求。20世纪60年来以来,以美国为代表的西方国家兴起了教师专业发展的研究,教师专业发展已经成为一种新趋势。我国也于20世界90年代开始对其进行研究,然而当时我国用于教师专业发展的研究在很大程度上以提高教师的专业知识和技能为目标,忽略了教师专业发展的内在需求。虽然国内外对教师专业发展的相关的研究比较多,但关于高中英语教师专业发展和个人因素对其的影响方面的调查研究仍然不够多。本文旨在调查高中英语教师专业发展的现状,着重研究教师的个人因素,如性别,年龄,职称,教育背景对高中英语教师专业发展的影响。本次研究问题如下:1.锦州市高中英语教师专业发展现状如何?2.锦州市高中英语教师专业发展的基本情况及个人因素对其专业发展有什么样的影响,如:性别,年龄,职称,教育背景?研究由来自辽宁省锦州市6所高级中学150名教师参加,研究数据来自调查问卷和访谈。在数据处理方面用SPSS软件进行数据分析,最后在此基础上进行分析研究。研究结果表明:首先,锦州市高中英语教师专业发展现状可以从以下三方面来分析:从教师职业的信念和态度上来看,高中英语教师热爱教育事业,对工作充满信心,但也有一部分教师对工作环境不满意;从教师专业知识和专业能力上来看,高中英语教师都认为他们的英语语法知识、阅读能力较好,而大部分教师语音语调、口语交际能力仍需提高。从科研方面来看,高中英语教师中只有少数人进行科研,需提高科研的热情和能力;从教师专业发展需求上来看,高中英语教师自我专业发展意识强烈,急需提高理论素质和科研能力。其次,教师个人因素对专业发展的影响显著,性别,年龄,职称,教育背景对教师专业发展的不同方面有不同的影响。女性的职业认同度高于男性,并且它随年龄增加而增高,研究生学历的教师职业认同度高于其他教师。性别对教师的专业知识和技能没有显著影响,它随着学历和职称的升高而增强。拥有硕士学历的教师专业发展需求最高,而年龄大的教师偏低。
[Abstract]:Teachers' professional development includes teachers' professional identity, teachers' professional knowledge and skills, and teachers' professional development. Since the 20th century, research on teachers' professional development has emerged in western countries, represented by the United States. Teachers' professional development has become a new trend. Our country began to study it in 90s. However, at that time, the research of teachers' professional development in our country aimed to improve teachers' professional knowledge and skills to a large extent. Ignoring the inherent needs of teacher professional development. Although there are more studies on teacher professional development at home and abroad, However, there is still not enough research on the professional development of senior English teachers and the influence of personal factors on them. This paper aims to investigate the present situation of English teachers' professional development in senior high school, focusing on the teachers' personal factors, such as gender, age, etc. The influence of professional title and educational background on the professional development of English teachers in senior high school. The research questions are as follows: 1. What is the current situation of English teachers' professional development in Jinzhou? 2. What influence does the professional development of English teachers in Jinzhou City have on their professional development, such as gender, age, professional title and educational background? The study was conducted by 150 teachers from 6 senior middle schools in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. The data were collected from questionnaires and interviews. The data were analyzed with SPSS software in data processing. The results show that: first of all, the present situation of English teachers' professional development in Jinzhou City can be analyzed from the following three aspects: from the perspective of teachers' beliefs and attitudes, High school English teachers love education and have confidence in their work, but some teachers are not satisfied with the working environment. From the point of view of teachers' professional knowledge and professional ability, senior English teachers all think that they have English grammar knowledge. Reading ability is good, but most teachers' pronunciation and intonation, oral communication ability still need to be improved. From the aspect of scientific research, only a small number of English teachers in senior high school carry out scientific research, and need to improve their enthusiasm and ability of scientific research; In terms of teachers' professional development needs, high school English teachers have a strong sense of self-professional development and need to improve their theoretical quality and scientific research ability. Secondly, teachers' personal factors have a significant impact on professional development, such as gender, age, professional title, etc. Educational background has different effects on different aspects of teachers' professional development. Women's professional identity is higher than that of men's, and it increases with age. The degree of professional identity of teachers with graduate degree is higher than that of other teachers. Gender has no significant influence on teachers' professional knowledge and skills. Older teachers are on the low side.
