句子模因在初中英语写作教学中的应用

【摘要】:模因论是基于达尔文进化论的一种理念,它为丰富人类的语言提供了一条快捷、有效的途径,也为语言研究提供全新的视角。模因作为文化基因,靠复制、传播而生存,语言是它的载体之一。模因在传递过程中要经历同化、记忆、表达和传输四个阶段,这和句型模仿写作的过程存在着密切联系。因此,本文在国内外英语写作研究成果的研究之上,将模因论引入初中英语写作领域,目的在于检验模因论指导下的句型模仿写作在初中英语写作中的有效性,从而希望对提高学生的英语写作水平有所帮助。本项研究旨在回答以下问题:1)模因论指导下的句型模仿写作教学能否提升学生写作水平?2)接受模因式句型模仿写作教学指导的学生是否改变了对待英语写作的态度?为了探究以上问题,本文主要采用了定量和定性的分析方法,研究采用的工具是调查问卷、写作测试、作文样本和访谈。来自昆明某中学初三年级两个班的94名学生参加了本次试验。实验中首先对实验班(47人)和控制班(47人)进行前测,藉此来证明两个班学生的写作水平基本相当,同时开展问卷调查,目的为了了解学生对于英语写作的态度。然后对实验班学生进行为期8周的句型模仿写作教学,两个班同时进行中测,得出中测数据并分析实验班是否有进步。然后对实验班学生再进行8周的句型模仿写作教学,同时对两个班进行后测,通过后测成绩对比和作文样本分析证明句型模仿写作的有效性,对三次测试取得的数据采用SPSS 20.0软件进行了分析。同时在学期末开展第二次问卷调查,了解学生对英语写作和模因论指导下句型模仿写作的态度。通过问卷分析和个人访谈进一步了解学生对英语写作的态度和情况。研究结论表明:1)模因论指导下的句型模仿写作教学能够有效地提高学生的写作水平。句型模仿写作法不但可以提高学生在英语写作中内容和语言准确性方面的水平,还有助于学生综合语言能力的发展。2)模因论指导下的句型模仿写作教学法能够激发初中生对英语写作的兴趣,提升他们对英语写作的积极态度对于初中的英语教师来说,是一种能有效的帮助学生提高英语写作水平的新的写作教学方法。
[Abstract]:Memetics is an idea based on Darwin's theory of evolution. It provides a fast and effective way to enrich human language and provides a new perspective for language research. As a cultural gene, meme survives by replication and transmission. Language is one of its carriers. Meme has four stages of assimilation, memory, expression and transmission in the process of transmission, which is closely related to the process of sentence pattern imitation writing. Therefore, based on the research results of English writing at home and abroad, this paper introduces memetics into the field of junior high school English writing, in order to test the effectiveness of sentence pattern imitation writing under the guidance of memetics in junior middle school English writing. It is hoped that it will be helpful to improve the students' English writing level. The purpose of this study is to answer the following question: 1) whether the teaching of mimic writing under the guidance of memetics can improve the students' writing level 2) whether the students who receive the instruction of the teaching of mimic writing of the meme have changed their attitudes towards English writing? In order to explore the above problems, this paper mainly adopts quantitative and qualitative analysis methods, the tools used in the study are questionnaires, writing tests, composition samples and interviews. Ninety-four students from two classes in Grade 3 of a middle school in Kunming took part in the experiment. In the experiment, the experimental class (47 students) and the control class (47 students) were tested in order to prove that the writing proficiency of the two classes was basically the same. A questionnaire survey was conducted in order to understand the students' attitude towards English writing. Then the students in the experimental class were taught the sentence pattern imitation writing for 8 weeks. The two classes conducted the middle test at the same time. The data of the middle test were obtained and the improvement of the experimental class was analyzed. Then the students in the experimental class were taught the sentence pattern imitation writing for 8 weeks, and the two classes were tested. The validity of the sentence pattern imitation writing was proved by the comparison of the post test results and the composition sample analysis. The data obtained from three tests are analyzed by SPSS 20.0 software. At the end of the semester, a second questionnaire was conducted to find out the students' attitudes towards English writing and memetics. Through the questionnaire analysis and personal interviews to further understand the students' attitude and situation towards English writing. The research results show that the teaching of sentence pattern imitation writing under the guidance of memetics can effectively improve the students' writing ability. The method of sentence pattern imitation can not only improve the students' level of content and language accuracy in English writing. The sentence pattern imitation writing method under the guidance of memetics can stimulate junior high school students' interest in English writing and promote their positive attitude towards English writing. It is a new writing teaching method which can help students improve their English writing level.
