人教版高中英语必修教材阅读材料分析与评价
[Abstract]:With economic and political exchanges, the world is increasingly globalizing. English is an essential skill for the citizens of non-English speaking countries. English reading ability is an important part of high school English learning. In China, textbooks are the main way for students to learn English. However, the author finds that there are relatively few comments on the reading materials of the compulsory high school English teaching materials. This paper takes the reading materials (reading text and reading exercises) of the textbook as the research object, adopts the combination of internal and external evaluation, and studies the following three questions: is the selection and arrangement of reading materials scientific and reasonable? Does the reading material meet the teaching and learning needs of teachers and students? Does the reading material conform to the content and requirements of the course? The author used questionnaire survey and interview to analyze the data of 172 students and 26 senior English teachers in Zhangzhou No. 3 Middle School by using SPSS21.0. Six teachers and some students were interviewed according to the main problems reflected in the questionnaire, hoping to find out the causes of the problems and put forward some feasible suggestions. The study found that the teachers and students have a higher evaluation of the reading materials of the textbooks, the textbooks are more scientific and reasonable in the aspects of grammar and the quantity of new words, and the cultivation of Chinese and Western cultural knowledge and reading skills can also be generally recognized by teachers and students. Reading materials basically meet the needs of teachers and students, and better meet the requirements of curriculum standards. However, there are still some shortcomings. Reading style and topic selection are not close to the level of students' interest, task design in practice does not fully take into account the needs of students at different levels, and teachers do not fully practice task-based teaching methods. Not enough attention should be paid to the cultivation of students' comprehensive language use ability. Through the above analysis and evaluation, this study puts forward the following suggestions: teachers should pay attention to text teaching, train students' multi-language skills to develop harmoniously, and implement task-based teaching methods. Students should change their learning attitude, improve their learning autonomy and actively participate in task activities. The textbook writers should pay attention to the combination of classics and times of reading text, add vocabulary annotation, accumulation of words and sentences, and improve the selection of reading task setting.
