陕西中考英语阅读理解内容效度研究

【摘要】:在中国学生看来,从进入小学开始直到大学毕业,都会参加许许多多的考试,在这其中,英语考试占据了不少比例。中考英语,是广大学生和教师非常熟悉的一项考试。同时它也是仅次于高考的一项大型考试。其中的阅读部分更是重中之重。由于这场考试的关键性和重要性。所以它的质量也是受到社会各界人士的关注。说到考试质量那么效度就必须是一个首要因素了。从某种方面是来说,一套考试的效度直接关系到这套试题的质量。多少年来,各位专家学者在效度方面的研究也有很多,然而,本文作者却发现,对于中考英语阅读理解部分效度研究及其罕见。综上所述,本文就以2011至2015年陕西中考英语的阅读部分为例来研究其效度。目的在于探索1)近五年来陕西中考英语的阅读部分的内容效度,2)老师及学生对陕西中考英语的阅读部分的满意程度如何。在研究之前,作者准备了一些必要的资料,陕西省中考考试说明(2015年为最新版本),陕西省初中英语课程标准以及有效的效度研究框架(结合几位专家的效度框架而制定)。在研究过程中,作者以近5年来的陕西中考阅读题型为研究对象,结合相关资料,采用定性分析和定量分析的方法来进行研究。客观地分析了试题的制定情况,了解了试题的效度,同时指出了试题的些许瑕疵。详细的研究步骤如下:首先,作者将效度框架研究划分为下列维度:测试说明,测试输入变量,预期答题,以及输入与答题间的关系。接着,将中考英语阅读按照这五个维度进行分析和验证,同时客观地将数据与相关参考资料(课程标准)进行比较。最后,作者采用了信度较高的调查问卷来获取老师和学生对于中考英语阅读试题的看法,并科学的处理了数据。经过如此复杂的研究,本文得出以下结论:第一,整体来说,陕西中考英语阅读理解的内容效度较高。客观的数据表明,试题内容与课题标准与考试说明所规定的要求高度吻合。第二,通过分析,作者仍可以发现中考英语阅读理解试题有一些瑕疵,例如,阅读技能的分布有些不均衡,阅读篇章的体裁分布不合理,以及整体的阅读速度处于较低水平等。第三,通过调查问卷反省,尽管在某些问题存在异议,整体上来说不论是老师还是学生对于中考英语阅读测试的满意度是较高的。
[Abstract]:For Chinese students, from the beginning of primary school to college, they take a lot of exams, and English accounts for a large proportion of them. English examination is a very familiar test for students and teachers. At the same time, it is second only to the college entrance examination of a large examination. Among them, the reading part is the most important. Because of the importance and importance of the exam. So its quality is also the concern of people from all walks of life. When it comes to the quality of the exam, the validity of the test must be a primary factor. In some ways, the validity of a set of tests is directly related to the quality of the set of questions. Over the years, many experts and scholars have done a lot of research on validity. However, the author of this paper finds that the study of partial validity of reading comprehension in middle school is rare. To sum up, this paper studies the validity of the reading part of Shaanxi Middle School English Test from 2011 to 2015. The purpose is to explore 1) the content validity of reading part of Shaanxi middle school English test in recent five years, and 2) how satisfied teachers and students are with the reading part of Shaanxi middle school English test. Prior to the study, the author prepared some necessary materials, including the instructions for the Shaanxi Provincial Middle School examination (2015 is the latest version), the Shaanxi Junior High School English Curriculum Standard and the effective validity Research Framework (based on the validity framework of several experts). In the course of the research, the author takes the reading question type of Shaanxi middle school examination in recent 5 years as the research object, combines the related data, adopts the qualitative analysis and the quantitative analysis method to carry on the research. This paper objectively analyzes the formulation of the test questions, understands the validity of the questions, and points out some defects in the questions. The detailed research steps are as follows: first, the validity framework is divided into the following dimensions: test description, test input variables, expected answer, and the relationship between input and answer. Then, the paper analyzes and verifies English reading according to these five dimensions, and objectively compares the data with relevant reference materials (curriculum standards). Finally, the author uses a high reliability questionnaire to obtain the teachers' and students' views on the English reading test, and scientifically processes the data. After such a complicated study, the paper draws the following conclusions: first, the content validity of reading comprehension in Shaanxi junior high school is relatively high. Objective data show that the content and standard of the test are highly consistent with the requirements stipulated in the test description. Secondly, through the analysis, the author can still find that there are some defects in the English reading comprehension test of the middle school, such as the uneven distribution of reading skills, the unreasonable genre distribution of reading texts, and the low reading speed as a whole. Third, through questionnaire reflection, although there are some differences in some questions, the overall satisfaction of both teachers and students for the English reading test is higher.
