语境理论在高中英语完形填空教学中的应用与研究

  完形填空普遍被认为是一项能够检测学生综合运用语言能力的题型。作为英语测试中较为流行的形式,其宗旨,一是从英语语言基础知识角度,考查考生英语语言能力;二是从文章语境角度,考查学生语言运用的综合能力和语篇能力。然而在实习教学实践中笔者发现,在做完形填空时,大部分学生习惯提笔就做,把每道题目看成独立的个体,缺乏分析段落的语篇语境意识和能力,因而,往往答题的效率不高且准确率极低。同时在与老师日常交流中了解到,在讲解完形填空时,大多数是就题论题,很少使用语境理论来分析选题。如何提高学生和老师在做和讲解完成填空选题时的语境意识,是每个中学英语老师的面临的一个重要课题。本文以语境理论为基础,借鉴了学术界一些相关研究成果,通过完形填空教学实验,旨在探究语境理论对高中英语完形填空教学的影响,探求基于语境理论的完形填空教学方法及学习策略,寻求提高中学生完形填空解题能力及语言综合运用能力的有效途径。本文提出以下研究问题:1.学生在做完形填空时通常使用何种学习策略?2.如何将语境理论应用到完型填空教学实践中?3.将语境理论运用到完形填空当中能否提高学生对完形填空的解题能力?为了探究以上三个问题,本研究主要采用文...
