基于文化渗透的高中英语词汇教学应用研究

【摘要】：目前,英语作为一种交流工具变得越来越重要了。词汇是英语的一个重要的基本要素,它蕴含了丰富的文化内涵。由于国家间文化各异,所以对于语言学习者来说掌握词汇的文化内涵是必要的。然而,传统的高中英语词汇教学只关注发音、拼写和字面含义。缺乏文化内涵引导的词汇教学使学生与他人流畅、成功地交流成为一个难题。基于Krashen的输入假说、语言和文化迁移理论和文化移入模式理论,作者将文化渗透应用到高中英语词汇教学中,试图探究它是否能够培养和提高学生的跨文化交际能力。本研究针对以下两个问题:1.基于文化渗透的英语词汇教学能提高高中学生的英词汇学习兴趣吗?2.基于文化渗透的英语词汇教学能帮助高中学生正确地使用文化负载词汇吗?本研究的实验对象是来自营口开发区第一高中高二年级两个班的100名学生。他们有相似的教育背景和英语水平。其中一个班为控制班,另一个班为实验班。在本研究中,他们要完成前测、后测、问卷和访谈。此外,控制班进行传统英语词汇教学,实验班则进行基于文化渗透的英语词汇教学。实验持续了四个月。然后SPSS17.0被用来分析从试卷和问卷中得到的数据。对于访谈则进行了定性分析。本研究得到了以下结论:第一、基于文化渗透的英语词汇教学能提高高中学生的英语词汇学习兴趣。第二、基于文化渗透的英语词汇教学能帮助高中学生准确地使用文化负载词汇。虽然本研究存在一些局限性,但是基于文化渗透的英语词汇教学能够有效地培养学生的跨文化交际能力毋庸置疑。
