短期来华留学生的跨文化培训设计

【摘要】:中国自改革开放以来,为促进文化交流和传播,许多大学设立了各种短期留学生项目以吸引世界各地的留学生来华学习中文、体验中国文化。这些短期留学项目的主要目的之一是“培养和提高留学生的跨文化交际能力”,因此为参加短期来华项目的留学生设计有针对性的跨文化培训项目很有必要且有着重要意义。本论文以上海开放大学“海濡汇”短期留学项目的23位留学生为研究对象,设计旨在帮助留学生适应在华学习和生活的跨文化培训项目。本研究主要解决的问题是:1)参加“海濡汇”的留学生对此跨文化培训项目有何期待和需求?2)为帮助留学生更好地适应在中国的学习和生活,跨文化培训项目应涵盖哪些内容?3)留学生对跨文化培训项目的满意度受哪些因素影响?4)这一跨文化培训项目对他们的跨文化敏感度有何影响或改变?针对以上问题,本文首先回顾并梳理了跨文化培训和跨文化能力等相关理论,比较并选择了适合本研究的测量工具。在“海濡汇”项目正式启动前,作者开展了针对留学生的需求分析,通过邮件发放收集问卷,并结合访谈了解和明确留学生对此跨文化培训项目的期待和需求。在此基础上,作者设计了为期四天包含不同话题的跨文化培训项目,综合多种培训方法、培训活动帮助留学生了解和适应中国。该跨文化培训项目实施期间,同时贯穿进行了完整的项目评估研究,运用满意度调查问卷、跨文化敏感度目录(ICSI)、观察、访谈等方法,测量留学生对此跨文化培训项目的满意度并评估该项目对他们跨文化敏感度的影响。最终研究结果表明,“海濡汇”短期来华项目的留学生对该跨文化培训项目比较满意,数据同时反映,留学生的整体满意度与培训员的表现、培训的实用性有密切关系;另外留学生的跨文化敏感度目录(ICSI)前后测数据分析显示,通过此次跨文化培训项目留学生的跨文化敏感度有显著提高。
[Abstract]:Since China's reform and opening up, in order to promote cultural exchange and dissemination, many universities have set up a variety of short-term programs to attract students from all over the world to study Chinese and experience Chinese culture. One of the main purposes of these short-term study programs is to "cultivate and improve the cross-cultural communicative competence of foreign students", so it is necessary and important to design targeted cross-cultural training programs for foreign students who participate in short-term programs in China. In this paper, a cross-cultural training program is designed to help foreign students adapt to study and life in China. The main problems solved in this study are: (1) what are the expectations and needs of the overseas students participating in the "sea immersion" for this cross-cultural training program? 2) in order to help international students better adapt to the study and life in China, What should the cross-cultural training program cover? (3) what are the factors affecting the students' satisfaction with the cross-cultural training program? 4) how does this cross-cultural training program affect or change their cross-cultural sensitivity? Aiming at the above problems, this paper reviews and combs the relevant theories of cross-cultural training and cross-cultural competence, and compares and selects the measurement tools suitable for this study. Before the project was officially launched, the author carried out a needs analysis for overseas students, sent out questionnaires by email, and made clear the expectations and needs of foreign students in this cross-cultural training project. On this basis, the author has designed a four-day cross-cultural training program with different topics, which integrates various training methods and helps foreign students understand and adapt to China. During the implementation of the cross-cultural training project, a complete project evaluation study was carried out, using the satisfaction questionnaire, cross-cultural sensitivity catalog (ICSI), observation, interviews and other methods. Measure foreign students' satisfaction with this cross-cultural training program and evaluate its impact on their cross-cultural sensitivity. The final research results show that the foreign students of the "sea immersion" short-term program in China are satisfied with the cross-cultural training project, and the data also show that the overall satisfaction of the international students is closely related to the performance of the trainers and the practicability of the training. In addition, the cross-cultural sensitivity of international students was significantly improved through the analysis of pre-and post-test data of cross-cultural sensitivity catalogue (ICSI).
