职前英语教师教学方法信念发展之叙事探究

  近些年来,随着外语教学和教师认知研究的发展,外语教师教学信念的研究逐渐成为国内外学者关注的焦点。作为教学实践的重要驱动力,教学信念将会对实际的课堂教学产生十分重要的影响。在这一领域研究最多的是教学信念和教学行为的关系以及影响二者之间关系的影响因素。大多数研究采用的是个案研究,研究对象多为大学英语教师或者经验型教师,对职前英语教师的研究较少。因此,在前人研究的基础上,本研究旨在探究职前英语教师在教育实践过程中教学方法信念发展变化的特征。具体而言,主要包括三个部分:关于激发学生学习的信念,关于如何处理学生课堂回复的信念以及对发展学生口头表达能力所采用策略的信念。本研究以课堂观察、对话以及反思日志收集作为数据收集的方法,以就读于某一重点师范大学一名教育硕士作为研究对象,采用叙事探究的方法探索以下两个疑题:(1)职前英语教师Wendy在教育实践中教学方法信念发展呈现出哪些特征?(2)这些特征是如何被社会、文化和机构叙事所影响和塑造的?研究发现,Wendy的教学方法信念发展是一个复杂的过程,主要呈现出三个特征。第一,教学方法信念发展是一个动态的过程,并且在整个实习过程中一直保持某种程度的变化。在...
