近代新式小学教育之先导—张焕纶

【摘要】:在中国近代教育史上,张焕纶先生是一位非常重要的教育家,他于1878年在上海创办第一所国人自办的新式小学——正蒙书院,开创了国人自办近代小学教育的先河,对新式小学在中国发生发展起了先导性作用。本文基于笔者搜集到的多方资料,采用文献分析法等,以张焕纶先生创办正蒙书院的教育实践为线索,重点关注张焕纶的小学教育实践,突显其对中国小学教育转型的独特贡献,并重点探讨近代中国小学教育完成转型的过程。按照人物角色发展转变和时间演进的双重维度,勾勒出张焕纶先生的成长经历,交代其成长环境和主要受教育经历为后来教育实践所做的积累和沉淀。并以张焕纶创办正蒙书院为切入点,分析国人自办新式小学的历史背景,探寻正蒙书院创办的缘起,将正蒙书院放在历史长轴中,比较正蒙书院与以往旧式小学的革新之处,具体研究正蒙书院的经费来源、办学宗旨、组织管理、课程设置与教学方式及后续沿革等。同时,详细阐述张焕纶的小学教育思想,从其小学教育思想的溯源,到其教育思想的具体内容,全面概括张焕纶由于办新式小学教育锤炼出的“公德”德育观、“中体西用”教学观、和谐融洽的师生观、重视校风和校训的治校观等教育思想。研究张焕纶的小学教育实践与教育思想对近代教育的影响,重点关注张焕纶开创国人自办新式小学教育在当时引起的关注和反响,并研究其教育救国和教育改良思想与当时社会思想潮流的契合,同时关注张焕纶教育实践与教育思想对近代教育的贡献。最后,在突显张焕纶为我国新式小学教育做出的特殊贡献的基础上,总结其新式小学教育实践和教育思想对于我们现在办小学教育的有益启示。
[Abstract]:In the history of modern Chinese education, Mr. Zhang Huanlun was a very important educator. In 1878, he established the first new-style primary school in Shanghai, the Zhengmeng Academy, which initiated the modern primary education run by the people themselves. It has played a leading role in the development of new primary schools in China. Based on the various data collected by the author, the author adopts the literature analysis method, taking the educational practice of Mr. Zhang Huanlun's founding of Zhengmeng Academy as a clue, focusing on Zhang Huanlun's primary education practice. It highlights its unique contribution to the transition of primary education in China, and focuses on the process of completing the transformation of primary education in modern China. According to the dual dimensions of character development transformation and time evolution, this paper outlines Mr. Zhang Huanlun's growth experience, and explains the accumulation and precipitation of his growth environment and main education experience for the later educational practice. Taking Zhang Huanlun's establishment of Zhengmeng Academy as the starting point, this paper analyzes the historical background of the new style primary school run by Chinese people, explores the origin of the establishment of Zhengmeng Academy, puts Zhengmeng Academy on the long axis of history, and compares the innovation between Zhengmeng Academy and the old primary school. This paper studies the source of funding, purpose, organization and management of Zhengmeng Academy, curriculum design and teaching methods, and its subsequent evolution. At the same time, it elaborates Zhang Huanlun's primary school education thought in detail, from the origin of his primary school education thought to the concrete content of his educational thought, and generalizes Zhang Huanlun's moral education view of "public morality" because of running the new primary school education. The concept of teaching, harmonious view of teachers and students, emphasis on school spirit and school motto. This paper studies the influence of Zhang Huanlun's elementary school education practice and educational thought on modern education, and focuses on Zhang Huanlun's concern and response to the new primary education initiated by his countrymen at that time. At the same time, the author studies the consonance of his thoughts of saving the nation and improving education with the trend of social thought at that time, and pays close attention to the contribution of Zhang Huanlun's educational practice and thought to modern education. Finally, on the basis of highlighting Zhang Huanlun's special contribution to the new primary school education in China, the author summarizes the beneficial enlightenment of Zhang Huanlun's new primary school education practice and educational thought for us to run primary school education now.
