故事教学法在小学英语教学中的应用研究

【摘要】：当今,随着社会发展,英语学习在全球变得越来越普及,低龄学英语成为当下的一种趋势。但是,大量英语词汇和复杂语法使中国学生学习英语十分困难,许多学生甚至失去了学习英语的兴趣,尤其是在小学阶段。因此,对于小学英语老师来说,通过寻找适当的教学方法,进而激发学生的英语学习兴趣,提高英语水平,是非常必要的。作者希望故事教学法能够帮助解决此问题。许多专家就故事教学法做了研究,但是有关故事教学法应用于小学英语教学中研究不是很多,因此作者就这一课题做了有关的研究。具体研究问题如下:(1)故事教学方法可以激发学生学习英语的兴趣吗?(2)故事教学方法可以提高学生的英语水平吗?本实验在辽宁省朝阳市第五小学五年级的两个班级实施,1班设为控制班,2班设为实验班。每个班级各有40名学生,实验时间从2015年9月到2016年1月,共持续18周,教材均采用《快乐英语》。区别在于:控制班仍然采用传统英语教学法教学,实验班运用“故事教学法”教学,在实验过程中,所用到的研究工具有调查问卷,测试卷,访谈和数据分析软件。通过数据分析,本实验得出如下结论:“故事教学法”可以激发学生学习英语的兴趣,“故事教学法”可以提高小学生的英语水平。因此,作者验证了故事教学法在小学英语教学中应用的可行性。然而,由于调查的局限性,作者希望广大教师和研究者们能够结合实际,对于“故事教学法”做更深层次的研究,提出更具建设性的意见,发挥其在未来英语教学中的实践作用。
