风景视域下《威弗莱》汉译本苏格兰性研究

　　英国小说家沃尔特·司各特爵士（Sir Walter Scott,1771-1832）是苏格兰民族英雄,誉为“苏格兰旅游业之父”,其文学作品“发明了苏格兰”、“构建了苏格兰文化身份”。然而,一直以来,我国受主流英国文学史观的影响,忽视了英国文学中的民族复杂性和多样性,也因此忽视了司各特作品中的苏格兰性,缺乏对其作品汉译中苏格兰性的研究。《威弗莱》（Waverley,or Tis Sixty Years Since,1814）是司各特首部历史小说,其苏格兰风景描写超越背景设置的需要,成为承载苏格兰性,即体现作者苏格兰认同、展现苏格兰异质的前景。本文以风景理论为描述性框架,韦努蒂异化理论为翻译批评标准,回答了以下问题:原文中苏格兰风景种类有哪些?这些风景如何揭示作者的创作意图,展示其中蕴含的苏格兰异质?译文中的苏格兰异质如何完整呈现或是为何缺失?通过考察原作、对比原作和译作,本文发现司各特通过描绘苏格兰自然风景以及人文景致展示的苏格兰风习,构建的迷人独特的苏格兰形象,唤起苏格兰人民对苏格兰民族文化的忠诚。译者由于受主流英国文学史观的影响,缺乏识别原文中苏格兰异质的意识,采用了透明翻译策略,对...
