多模态教学模式在农村初中英语词汇教学中的应用研究

众所周知,词汇是英语教学的基础,英语知识的学习和技能的应用都离不开词汇的支撑,而英语词汇对于初中学生,尤其是农村初中学生来说仍然是很难攻克的难题。20世纪90年代以来,多模态话语分析理论被许多学者应用到外语教育教学领域。多模态旨在研究把视觉、听觉等多种模态应用到教学过程中,从而提高学生的英语水平。但是到目前为止,多模态教学模式在农村初中英语词汇教学领域研究较少,尤其是针对不同词类各种模态之间如何有效结合方面的研究更少。基于这种情况,本文主要研究英语词汇教学中多模态结合使用对农村初中学生英语词汇水平的作用。基于多模态教学模式,本文对以下两个问题进行了探索研究。(1)农村初中学生对于多模态教学的态度如何?(2)多模态教学模式能否提高农村初中学生的英语词汇水平?本次实验的对象是甘肃省陇南市宕昌县南阳中学初一年级两个班的学生。作者采用词汇前后测卷以及问卷调查的方法,历时四个月,对于多模态教学在农村初中英语词汇教学中的应用进行了实证研究。在教学实验前,作者通过前测试题,分析学生在词汇水平上是否存在差异。在实验过程中,在实验班采用多模态教学法,在控制班采用语法翻译法。在试验后分发调查问卷来调查学生...
