从目的论角度对译者主体性的考察

【摘要】:传统翻译理论注重译文与原文的对等,要求译者必须“忠实”于原文和作者。这使得翻译活动中译者的作用和地位往往被忽视。随着翻译研究的“文化转向”,译者被作为“跨文化”交流的使者逐渐得到重视。 在中国国内,有关译者的研究通常被归类为译者主体性研究。至今,有关译者主体性的研究已从多方位、多角度开展起来,例如,文化角度、认知语言学角度、文学批评角度、关联理论角度和目的论角度等。其中,在从翻译理论——目的论角度对译者主体性的考察中,笔者发现,其考察内容多以探讨两者在理论上的关联或是仅以目的论为理论框架来考察译文中的译者主体性为主。然而,笔者认为目的论中提出的有关翻译的“基本规则”实则对译者主体性的考察具有一定指导作用。因此,本论文在从目的论对译者主体性的考察中,除了在理论上探讨两者的关联外,在译文分析中也借鉴了日本学者藤涛文子提出的基于目的论的译文分析方法,希望从理论及译文分析两方面更好地进行译者主体性的考察。其中,译文分析方面所选取的研究对象为日本作家村上春树作品『ダ少ンス?ダンス?ダンス』的对应中文翻译版本——《青春的舞步》(林少华译)和《舞·舞·舞》(赖明珠译)。另外,在对于译者主体性的考察中,本文主要从哲学中“主体性”的概念出发,验证在翻译活动中译者所表现出来的译者主体性。 本论文通过从目的论角度和哲学角度对译者主体性的考察和验证,最终得出了以下三点结论。首先,在理论上证明了翻译理论目的论对译者主体性的考察具有一定的指导作用;其次,由于本论文在译文分析方法上借鉴了藤涛文子所提出的基于目的论的译文分析方法,因此,本论文作为其分析方法的一个实践应用,也能够在某种程度证明了其分析方法的应用可行性;最后,本论文从哲学“主体性”的三个方面,即主观能动性,客观受动性和为我性验证了翻译活动中的译者主体性,从某种程度上来看,这种哲学角度的考察方法可以更加全面的说明译者主体性。
[Abstract]:The traditional translation theory emphasizes the equivalence between the target text and the original text. The translator is required to be "faithful" to the source text and the author. As a result, the role and position of the translator in translation activities are often ignored. With the "cultural turn" of translation studies, the translator is gradually attached importance as a messenger of "cross-cultural" communication. In China, the study of translator's subjectivity is usually classified as the study of translator's subjectivity. Up to now, the study of translator's subjectivity has been carried out from many aspects, for example, from the perspective of culture and cognitive linguistics. From the perspective of literary criticism, relevance theory and Skopos theory, the author finds out that the translator's subjectivity is investigated from the perspective of translation theory-Skopos theory. The content of the study is mainly to explore the theoretical relevance of the two theories or to examine the translator's subjectivity in the target text only within the framework of Skopos theory. The author holds that the "basic rules" proposed in Skopos Theory have a guiding effect on the translator's subjectivity. Therefore, the present thesis is looking into the translator's subjectivity from the perspective of Skopos Theory. In addition to discussing the relationship between the two in theory, we also draw lessons from the Skopos theory in the translation analysis. It is hoped that the translator's subjectivity will be better investigated in terms of both theory and translation analysis. Among them, the target of study in translation analysis is the Japanese writer Haruki Murakami's work, "A short story?" What? The corresponding Chinese translation versions of "the Dance step of Youth" (translated by Lin Shaohua) and "Dance 路Dance 路Dance" (translated by Lai Mingzhu). In addition, in the study of the translator's subjectivity, this paper mainly starts from the concept of "subjectivity" in philosophy. To verify the translator's subjectivity in translation. By examining and verifying the translator's subjectivity from the perspective of Skopos and philosophy, this thesis finally draws the following three conclusions. It is proved theoretically that Skopos Theory has a certain guiding effect on the study of translator's subjectivity. Secondly, this thesis draws lessons from the Skopos approach proposed by Fuko Fuzi in translation analysis. As a practical application of its analytical method, this paper can also prove to some extent the feasibility of the application of its analytical method. Objective passivity and ego verify the translator's subjectivity in translation activities. To some extent, this philosophical approach can explain the translator's subjectivity more comprehensively.
