纪录片口译实践活动中模糊语言处理难点的对策

【摘要】:在当代信息化社会,视频翻译与字幕制作逐渐形成了一项产业,其中尤其是内容真实、语言简洁、画面生动的记录型影片,一方面受到广大观众的喜爱,另一方面对异国语言文化学习者而言能提供巨大的学习价值。本论文选取了《园林》这一从历史的跨度解读呈现中国千百年来独特的园林文化的优秀纪录片,以其为材料进行了中译日的口译实践活动,试图在传播中国文化的同时,探讨纪录片中存在的模糊语言口译难点的具体对策。自1965年扎德(L.A.Zadeh)提出“模糊”(fuzzy)这一概念以来,模糊理论被广泛应用于多种学科。就语言而言,模糊性是语言本身所固有的,模糊语言是一种广泛存在于人类自然言语交际中的语言现象。而口译是一种即时、动态、复杂的跨文化交际行为,口译的性质和特点决定其不能照搬笔译“信达雅”的标准,口译要求“准顺快”,使得口译过程中遇到模糊语言时尤其难以处理。纵观相关先行研究,如何处理中译日口译过程中存在的模糊语言现象,是本文的着力之处。本论文一方面通过实践摸索出纪录片口译的一套操作流程方法,一方面利用实践案例从语意和文法构造的角度分别归纳纪录片口译中存在的模糊语现象,并以塞莱斯科维奇(Seleskovitch)为代表提出的释意理论作为理论指导,探讨译者如何识别和处理这些模糊语言。最终总结出了“模糊译至非模糊”与“以模糊译模糊”这两大类对策,并结合案例具体分析各自适用的口译方法。本文旨在为口译工作者进行类似口译活动时提供思路和参考,有效提高其口译质量。
[Abstract]:In the modern information society, video translation and subtitle production have gradually formed an industry, in which the content is real, the language is concise, the picture is vivid, on the one hand, it is loved by the general audience. On the other hand, it can provide great learning value for foreign language and culture learners. This thesis selects "Landscape Architecture", an excellent documentary that presents the unique garden culture of China for thousands of years from the historical span, and uses it as the material for interpreting Chinese translation into Japan in an attempt to spread Chinese culture at the same time. This paper probes into the concrete countermeasures of vague language interpretation difficulties in documentary films. Since the concept of "fuzzy" was put forward by Zadeh L. A. Zadeh in 1965, fuzzy theory has been widely used in many disciplines. As far as language is concerned, fuzziness is inherent in language itself, and fuzzy language is a linguistic phenomenon widely existing in human natural speech communication. Interpreting is a kind of instant, dynamic and complex intercultural communication behavior. The nature and characteristics of interpretation determine that it cannot copy the standard of "Cinda" in translation, and the interpretation requirement is "accurate and fast". Therefore, it is especially difficult to deal with vague language in the process of interpretation. This thesis focuses on how to deal with the fuzzy language phenomenon in the process of Chinese-Japanese interpretation. On the one hand, this thesis tries to find out a set of operation flow methods of documentary interpreting through practice, on the other hand, using practical cases to conclude the fuzzy phenomenon in documentary interpreting from the perspective of semantic and grammatical construction respectively. Based on the interpretation theory proposed by Seles Kovic and Seleskovitch, this paper discusses how the translator can recognize and deal with these vague languages. Finally, the author summarizes the strategies of "fuzzy translation to non-fuzzy translation" and "fuzzy translation fuzzy", and analyzes their respective interpretation methods in the light of cases. The purpose of this paper is to provide some ideas and references for interpreters to carry out similar interpreting activities so as to effectively improve their interpretation quality.
