日中视听翻译中的显化现象研究

【摘要】:视听翻译包括配音翻译、字幕翻译、同声传译等多种类别,这一领域在近年来的跨文化交际中做出了重大的贡献,但是其中关于中日比较的研究尚不多见。另一方面,由语言差异和文化差异引起的“显化”被称为翻译中的普遍现象,可以推测关于显化现象的理论或许也适用于视听翻译领域。因此,本文为了证明日中视听翻译中显化现象的普遍性进行了实证研究。 本研究以翻译研究中的显化理论为基础,从日中视听翻译的角度、以日文影视作品的中文配音版为对象考察其中的显化现象实例。调查研究时,从已在中国公开上映的日文影视作品中选取了电影、电视、动画片各一部作为研究对象,通过统计其翻译过程中出现的显化现象,总结出适合日中翻译特点的显化策略,并分析引起显化现象的原因。 本文的研究结果包括以下几个方面: (1)本研究证明了日中视听翻译中的显化现象是普遍存在的。调查对象中出现显化现象的台词句数平均所占比例为35.61%,并且每个类别的作品中出现显化现象的台词句数所占比例都在同一水平上。 (2)研究发现,日中视听翻译中的显化策略具有一定的特点。尽管作品类别不同、译者不同,但是使用显化策略的倾向相似,即都是最常使用“添加内容”的策略,其次是“选择语言表达”和“变换句式” (3)此次调查结果显示,关于日中视听翻译中引起显化现象的原因,主要源于翻译过程中的构文策略和汉语与日语之间的差异,同时可知文化差异也有一定的影响。 希望本研究的结论能够对今后日中视听翻译的研究与应用有所启示。
[Abstract]:Audio-visual translation includes dubbing translation, subtitle translation, simultaneous interpretation and other categories. This field has made great contributions in cross-cultural communication in recent years, but there are few studies on the comparison between China and Japan. On the other hand, "visualization" caused by linguistic and cultural differences is called a common phenomenon in translation, and it can be inferred that the theory of visualization may also be applicable to the field of audio-visual translation. Therefore, this paper makes an empirical study to prove the universality of visualization in audio-visual translation between Japan and China. Based on the visualization theory in translation studies and from the perspective of Japanese-Chinese audio-visual translation, this study takes the Chinese dubbing version of Japanese film and television works as the object to investigate the examples of visualization. During the investigation and research, one film, one television and one cartoon were selected from the Japanese film and television works which have been released in China, and the manifestation phenomena in the process of translation were counted. This paper summarizes the explicit strategies suitable for the characteristics of Japanese and Chinese translation, and analyzes the causes of the phenomenon. The results of this paper include the following aspects: (1) this study proves that the phenomenon of visualization in audio-visual translation between Japan and China is widespread. The average proportion of lines and sentences in each category of works was 35.61%, and the proportion of lines and sentences in each category of works was at the same level. (2) it is found that the explicit strategies in audio-visual translation between Japan and China have certain characteristics. Although the category of work is different and the translator is different, the tendency to use explicit strategies is similar, that is, they are the most commonly used "add content" strategies. The second is "selective language expression" and "changing sentence pattern" (3) the results of this survey show that the causes of visualization in audio-visual translation between Japan and China, It mainly originates from the text-formation strategies in the process of translation and the differences between Chinese and Japanese. At the same time, it can be seen that cultural differences also have a certain impact. It is hoped that the conclusions of this study can enlighten the study and application of audio-visual translation between Japan and China in the future.
