大学生英语演讲比赛演讲稿情态系统分析

【摘要】：近年来,国内外学者逐渐把注意力转向对人际意义的研究。情态系统作为人际意义是实现手段之一,表达说话者的主观判断,观点和态度。本论文的语料选自第五届“CCTV”杯英语演讲比赛英语演讲稿,总共八十篇语篇。本选题从系统功能语法的角度出发,采取定性和定量的研究方法,对大学生英语演讲比赛英语演讲稿进行情态系统的探析。从情态系统的实现手段、情态量值、情态取向及情态类型进行分析,得出以下结论:在情态的实现手段中,演讲者使用大量的情态助动词,例如“can”和“will”来表达概率和意愿。在情态隐喻中,演讲者偏爱使用主观显性的表达方式,例如“I/We believe that”。在量值方面,演讲者更多的使用中低值的表达方式。在情态取向方面,演讲者通过使用客观隐性和主观隐性的表达方式是演讲更加礼貌,委婉。综上所述,通过本文的研究,使演讲者对人际意义实现手段和语用意义有了更深的理解,以期大学生能更客观礼貌的表达自己的言语,进而提高自己演讲和人际间沟通的能力。
[Abstract]:In recent years, scholars at home and abroad have gradually turned their attention to the study of interpersonal meaning. As one of the means of realizing interpersonal meaning, modality system is used to express the subjective judgment of the speaker. Views and attitudes. The corpus of this thesis is drawn from a total of 80 speeches in the 5th "CCTV" Cup English speech contest. This thesis adopts qualitative and quantitative approaches from the perspective of systemic functional grammar. This paper analyzes the modality system of college students' English speech in English speech contest. From the means of realizing modality system, the value of modality, the orientation of modality and the type of modality, the following conclusions are drawn: among the means of realizing modality, The speaker uses a large number of modal auxiliary verbs, such as "can" and "will", to express probabilities and wishes. In modal metaphors, the speaker prefers subjective explicit expressions, such as "I / We believe that". In the aspect of modality orientation, the speaker is more polite and euphemism by using objective recessive and subjective implicit expression. It makes the speaker have a deeper understanding of the means of realizing interpersonal meaning and pragmatic meaning so that college students can express their words more objectively and politely and then improve their ability of speech and interpersonal communication.
