写作停顿视角下的二语写作过程研究

【摘要】：本研究通过停顿频次和停顿时长考察中国二语学习者对二语写作认知过程的管理。来自南京大学的英语水平高、低两组学生在计算机教室完成了一篇英语议论文的写作,写作过程采用Inputlog6.0进行全程记录。通过将写作过程划分为10个等时的写作时段,本研究发现,高、低水平二语写作者的停顿行为具有显著的时段特征,并且体现了写前规划阶段、产出阶段以及通读修改阶段在写作过程中占有的时间资源;同时,停顿行为凸显出写作认知过程相互交替推动写作过程呈非线性发展以及不同水平二语写作者对写作认知过程管理的差异性。通过将停顿行为和写作成果质量进行相关性考察,本文进一步探讨了停顿策略对写作过程管理和写作成果提升的积极意义。
[Abstract]:The present study investigates the management of the cognitive process of second language writing by Chinese second language learners by using pause frequency and pause duration. Two groups of students from Nanjing University have completed an argumentative paper in the computer classroom. The writing process is recorded by Inputlog6.0. By dividing the writing process into 10 equal time writing periods, this study finds that the pause behavior of high and low proficiency second language writers has significant temporal characteristics and reflects the pre-writing planning stage. The time resources occupied in the writing process in the output stage and the reading revision phase; at the same time, The pause behavior highlights that writing cognitive processes alternately promote the nonlinear development of writing processes and the differences in the management of writing cognitive processes at different levels of L2 writers. The correlation between pause behavior and the quality of writing results is investigated. This paper further discusses the positive significance of pause strategy to the management of writing process and the improvement of writing achievement.
