《绯闻女孩》中父母与青少年间冲突话语的语用分析

【摘要】：冲突话语指的是交际双方因意见分歧而发生的一种对立或争执状态,普遍存在于人们的日常生活中。20世纪70年代以来,国内外学者从社会学、人类学和语言学等视角对冲突话语进行研究。然而,主要集中在配偶、情侣、孩子以及其他家庭成员之间,关于父母与子女的冲突话语研究相对较少,尤其是父母与青少年间的冲突话语研究。因此,本文主要对父母与青少年间的冲突话语进行语用分析,旨在扩展这一领域的研究,同时也有利于建立和谐的亲子关系。本文着重探讨以下三个问题:1.父母与青少年间冲突话语的启始模式、激化模式和结束模式是什么?2.父母与青少年间冲突话语是如何开始、发展和结束的?3.父母与青少年间冲突话语发生的原因是什么?本文以会话分析理论和礼貌理论为理论基础,选取美剧《绯闻女孩》的前四季作为语料来源,采用定量和定性分析相结合的方法,分析父母与青少年间冲突话语的启始模式、激化模式和结束模式,并探讨造成冲突的原因以及规避冲突的方法。通过分析和研究发现,父母与青少年间冲突话语的启始阶段以责备模式和命令模式为主;在激化阶段中,否定模式所占的比例最多,重复模式则最少;结束阶段以撤退为主导模式,而转移话题则是使用最少的模式。冲突开始之后,经历若干个话轮转换,导致冲突激化,最终走向结束。另外,该论文深入探究了这一冲突话语发生的原因,包括对会话分析理论中“优先组织”的违反,对礼貌理论的违反以及其他原因。最后,本文提出了一些避免冲突的策略,分别为遵守会话分析理论的“优先组织”原则、遵守礼貌理论以及其他策略。本研究具有重要的理论和实践意义。它不仅在一定程度上丰富了冲突话语这一领域的研究;而且有利于提高父母与青少年的沟通能力,增进彼此间的互相理解,更好地处理双方的关系,对和谐家庭的建立起到一定的积极作用。
[Abstract]:Conflict discourse refers to a state of confrontation or dispute between the two sides of the communication due to their differences of opinion. It generally exists in people's daily life. Since the 1970s, scholars at home and abroad have started from sociology. Anthropological and linguistic perspectives study conflict discourse. However, most of them focus on spouses, couples, children and other family members, and there are relatively few studies on conflict discourse between parents and children. Therefore, this paper mainly focuses on the pragmatic analysis of conflict discourse between parents and adolescents in order to expand the research in this field. At the same time, it also helps to establish a harmonious parent-child relationship. This paper focuses on the following three questions: 1. What is the starting mode of the conflict between parents and adolescents, the intensification model and the ending mode? 2. How did the conflict discourse between parents and adolescents begin, develop and end? 3. What is the cause of the conflict between parents and adolescents? Based on the theory of conversational analysis and politeness, this paper selects the first four seasons of Gossip Girl as the source of the corpus, and analyzes the starting mode of the conflict between parents and teenagers by the combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis. Through the analysis and research, it is found that the initial stage of the conflict between parents and adolescents is mainly the pattern of blame and command, while in the stage of intensification, the conflict between parents and adolescents is dominated by the mode of blame and the mode of command. Negative mode accounts for the most proportion, repetition mode is the least; end stage is dominated by withdrawal, while the topic is changed to use the least. After the conflict begins, several turns of conversation are experienced, which leads to the intensification of the conflict. Finally, the thesis explores the causes of this conflict discourse, including the violation of "priority organization" in conversational analysis theory, the violation of politeness theory, and other reasons. In this paper, some strategies to avoid conflicts are proposed, respectively, which follow the "priority organization" principle of conversational analysis theory. This study is of great theoretical and practical significance. It not only enriches the research on conflict discourse to some extent, but also improves the communication ability between parents and adolescents. To promote mutual understanding and better deal with the relationship between the two sides, the establishment of a harmonious family plays a positive role.
