功能对等理论指导下的《跨文化交际》（节选）英汉翻译实践报告

【摘要】：在经济全球化时代,国与国之间的交流与联系在此时代背景下上升到了前所未有的紧密程度。跨文化交际已然成为一种生存能力,是紧跟时代发展潮流的基本条件,也是当代中国年轻人为肩负祖国未来繁荣富强应掌握的知识力量。本文具体以《跨文化交际》一书中的部分节选内容为翻译实践内容,遵循尤金·奈达的功能对等翻译理论展开实践和研究。在英汉翻译实践中,面对英汉两种语言的不同语言特点和文化背景等因素,译者需要在语言转换中作出思考。在功能对等理论指导下,如果意义和形式无法同时考虑到译文中,译者要考虑意义对等优先于形式对等,甚至改变原文的表达形式,以达到再现原文语义和文化的目的。至于被动语态的翻译,.译者要抓住源语作者要表达的重点,从而适当调整,译成被动语态或主动语态,遵从目标语语言习惯。在本篇翻译实践报告中,译者把翻译方法结合翻译实践中的具体例子进行分析,从而达到功能对等的翻译效果。希望本文能对翻译学习者和对跨文化交际感兴趣的人有所帮助。
[Abstract]:In the era of economic globalization, the communication and relationship between countries has risen to an unprecedented degree.Cross-cultural communication has become a kind of survival ability, a basic condition for keeping up with the trend of development of the times, and a knowledge force that young Chinese should master to shoulder the prosperity and strength of the motherland in the future.This paper takes some excerpts from Intercultural Communication as the translation practice, following Eugene Nida's functional equivalence translation theory.In the practice of English-Chinese translation, in the face of different linguistic characteristics and cultural background of English and Chinese, translators need to think about language conversion.Under the guidance of functional equivalence theory, if meaning and form cannot be taken into account in the translation at the same time, the translator should consider that meaning equivalence takes precedence over formal equivalence, or even change the form of expression of the original text to achieve the purpose of reproducing the semantic and cultural meaning of the original text.As for the translation of passive voice.The translator should grasp the emphasis of the author of the source language, adjust it properly, translate it into passive voice or active voice, and follow the target language habit.In this translation practice report, the translator combines the translation method with the concrete examples in translation practice to achieve the translation effect of functional equivalence.It is hoped that this paper will be helpful to translation learners and those interested in cross-cultural communication.
