中英灾难性事件报道中转述言语的对比分析

【摘要】：基于中英媒体对马航事件的英文报道,本研究对比分析了其转述言语中的转述来源、转述方式与转述评价,并由此探讨了中英媒体在灾难性事件报道中转述言语的差异。研究发现,就灾难性事件而言,在转述来源上,中英媒体绝大部分都使用确定来源,其中中方转述来源多为官员,而英方媒体的消息来源则趋于多元化;在转述方式上,中方媒体使用的间接引语多于直接引语,而英方媒体中则相反;在转述评价上,中英媒体报道中消极词汇皆多于积极词汇,而两者之间在积极与消极词汇使用上差异并不明显。本文还在此基础上讨论了研究的理论与实践意义。
[Abstract]:Based on the English reporting of Malaysia Airlines incident in Chinese and English media, this study compares and analyzes the source, mode and evaluation of the reporting language, and probes into the differences of the reporting words in the catastrophic event reporting between the Chinese and English media. The study found that, in the case of catastrophic events, most of the Chinese and British media use identified sources of reporting, most of which come from officials, while the sources of information from the British media tend to be diversified; in terms of the way of reporting, The Chinese media use more indirect quotations than the direct quotations, while the British media use the opposite. In the reporting evaluation, the negative words in the Chinese and English media reports are more than the positive words, but there is no obvious difference between the two in the use of positive words and negative words. This paper also discusses the theoretical and practical significance of the research.
