《中国企业文化转型》下篇第五章翻译实践报告

【摘要】:本文是一篇翻译实践报告,翻译任务原文选自悉尼科技大学法学院高级讲师科林S.C.霍斯(Colin S.C.Hawes)所著的《中国企业文化转型》(The Chinese Transformation of Corporate Culture)下篇第五章(Leading by Example)。该书的主要特点是从西方视角出发审视中国企业文化发展中遇到的问题及逐渐形成的特色,因此翻译此书能够帮助我们更加客观地了解和思考企业文化的真正目的和发展方向。全书共分为两部分,第一部分主要介绍中国企业文化的理论和政治环境,第二部分从具体实例出发,论证中国的企业文化在形成与发展的过程中,如何转型及转型中遇到的各种问题。通过对潘石屹和牛根生等人的研究,霍斯讨论了中国企业的领导者如何在特殊的社会环境下,利用自身的影响力向员工和社会大众推广企业文化,以及利用积累的政治善意维护企业发展。该书原文本属于信息功能文本,语篇中专业术语多、句型结构复杂,且受制于东西方意识形态差异,在事件及问题的看法上也多有不同。为力求译文准确再现原文内容,符合目的语读者的阅读习惯及阅读期待,笔者以德国功能主义目的论为理论依据来进行此次翻译实践,分析原文本语言和文化特点,翻译过程中主要采用直译、意译和回译等具体翻译方法。本次翻译实践使笔者提升了翻译水平,对翻译活动有了更为全面的认识。翻译实践不能停留在字对字的层面,而应从社会、文化等多方面考量;译者在翻译过程中,除要加强自身的业务水平之外,也应掌握检索和筛查信息的能力,综合考虑不同文化间的差异。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation practice report, the original translation task from Sydney University of Science and Technology Law School Senior Lecturer Colin S. C. Colin S.C.Hawes 's "the Transformation of Chinese Corporate Culture." (The Chinese Transformation of Corporate Culture) part five: (Leading by Example). The main feature of the book is to examine the problems and characteristics in the development of Chinese corporate culture from the western perspective. Therefore, the translation of this book can help us to understand and think about the real purpose and development direction of corporate culture more objectively. The book is divided into two parts. The first part mainly introduces the theory and political environment of Chinese corporate culture. The second part demonstrates the formation and development of Chinese corporate culture from concrete examples. How to transform and the various problems encountered in the transition. Through the study of Pan Shiyi and Niu Gensheng and others, Hoth discusses how leaders of Chinese enterprises can use their influence to promote corporate culture to employees and the general public in a special social environment. And the use of accumulated political goodwill to maintain the development of enterprises. The original text of the book belongs to the text of information function. There are many technical terms in the text, the structure of sentence structure is complex, and it is subject to the ideological differences between the East and the West, and its views on events and problems are also different. In order to reproduce the original content accurately and meet the reading habits and expectations of the target language readers, the author uses the German functionalist Skopos theory as the theoretical basis to carry out the translation practice and analyze the language and cultural characteristics of the original text. In the process of translation, some specific translation methods, such as literal translation, free translation and back translation, are adopted. This translation practice has improved the level of translation and has a more comprehensive understanding of translation activities. Translation practice should not stop at the level of word-to-word, but should be considered from social, cultural and other aspects. In the process of translation, the translator should not only strengthen his own professional level, but also grasp the ability to retrieve and screen information, and take into account the differences between different cultures.
