英语V-to-V结构及物性归属的功能句法研究

【摘要】：本文通过梳理系统功能语言学内V-to-V结构的动词关系,基于加的夫语法视角,坚持"意义为中心"的研究基准,利用功能句法剖析,意在明确V-to-V结构的及物性归属。研究提出该形式可分为含链接动词、补语和状语三类。含链接动词的V-to-V结构首动词意义弱化,及物性由第二动词决定。当首动词原型事件意义强、与参与者关系紧密时,为含补语的V-to-V结构,而相互关系松散、离散性强的则为状语性V-to-V结构,后两类及物性均以首个主要动词为准。
[Abstract]:By combing the verb relationship of V-to-V structure in systemic functional linguistics, based on the grammatical perspective of addition, this paper adheres to the research benchmark of "meaning as the center" and uses functional syntactic analysis to clarify the transitivity of V-to-V structure. It is proposed that the form can be divided into three categories: linked verbs, complements and adverbials. The meaning of the first verb of V-to-V structure with linked verbs is weakened, and the transitivity is determined by the second verb. When the archetypal event of the first verb has strong meaning and is closely related to the participants, it is the V-to-V structure with complement, while the one with loose relationship and the strong discreteness is the adverbial V-to-V structure, and the latter two types of transitivity are based on the first main verb.
