汉英词典中生理活动词项的词类标注问题与对策

　　 词类范畴化问题是语法研究的核心,而现代汉语、现代英语等分析语的概括词的兼类问题是学界研究的热点与难点。在汉英词典编纂中,词类标注也是一个牵一发而动全身的问题,其中,自指词项的兼类处理矛盾重重。鉴于生理活动词项涉及自指用法,本文以双层词类范畴化理论为指导,基于大型语料库,研究生理活动词项在《汉英词典》(第三版)、《新世纪汉英大词典》(第二版)及《汉英翻译大词典》三部最新出版的汉英词典中的词类标注情况。研究发现:生理活动词项在三部汉英词典中多数被标注为单类,且以动词为主,兼类词较少;共有词项在三部汉英词典之间存在词类标注不一致的现象,不仅反映在同一词条在不同汉英词典中词类标注混乱,还反映在同一词典内部对具有对称关系的词条词类标注自相矛盾。基于大型语料库的实证研究,我们发现生理活动词项的词类标注一定程度上证明了兼类与词频的相关性,其结果符合双层词类范畴化理论。研究结果表明生理活动词项的词类标注在汉英词典中以现代汉语词典为蓝本,仍然倾向坚持“简约原则”,以意义作为判断词类的标准,人为减少兼类数量,存在漏标词类的现象。究其根本原因是混淆社群语言系统层面词库中的词类范畴化与言语层面不同句法中的词类范畴化,将语言视为自然产物而非文化传承产物,违背语言使用事实。本项研究旨在理清生理活动词项的词类归属,提高汉英学习词典词类标注的准确性,进而提升汉语及汉英词典的编纂质量,深化现代汉语词类问题研究。
