《女性主义文体学》（第三、四章）翻译实践报告

　　 本篇翻译实践报告以彼得·纽马克的翻译理论为理论基础,选用英国著名学者萨拉·弥尔斯(Sara Mills)编写的《女性主义文体学》(第三、四章)为英译汉笔译实践材料,探讨学术著作翻译过程中出现的问题和可行的解决方案。学术著作不同于普通文本,其专业性较高,是某一领域研究成果的精华,也是同一领域研究者参考的重要文献资料。因此,翻译学术著作时,译者既要完整、准确地传达原文本内容,又要兼顾译文的可读性。本篇报告以英国著名翻译理论家彼得·纽马克提出的文本分类说以及与其相对应的两种翻译方法——交际翻译与语义翻译为指导,从词汇、句法、修辞等三个层面探讨学术著作的行文特点及相应的翻译策略。纽马克根据语言功能将文本划分为信息型文本、表达型文本和呼唤型文本,并明确提出交际翻译适用于信息型和呼唤型文本,而语义翻译则多用于表达型文本。源文本以信息功能为主导功能,并兼具表达功能,因此,笔者在翻译过程中选择以交际翻译为主,辅以语义翻译,并针对具体翻译问题,在交际翻译和语义翻译的指导下,灵活运用增补、转换、分译等多种翻译技巧,以求贴合原文,提高译文质量。本篇翻译实践报告共分为五个章节。第一章简要介绍了此次翻译任务。第二章介绍了翻译实践过程,包括译前准备、翻译过程中遇到的困难及解决方案、译后审校修订等部分。第三章简要描述了彼得·纽马克的翻译理论及其在此次翻译实践中的应用性。第四章是案例分析,详细描述了译者在翻译词汇、句法、修辞等过程中采用的翻译技巧,并辅以实例论证。第五章是对本次翻译实践的总结,包括在此次翻译过程中获得的经验与收获,问题与不足以及一些建议,以期对未来学术类文本翻译能有所帮助。
