词块教学法和高中英语翻译教学

词汇的学习在语言学习中的重要性不言而喻。我们发现教师非常重视词汇教学,学生也投入大量的时间与精力记忆词汇,但是语言运用的结果却不甚理想,尤其是在翻译过程中,体现出来的问题更是差强人意。如何在教学过程中有效地帮助学生提高语言运用的能力,尤其是翻译能力,这已经成为摆在英语教师面前的一项急迫的任务。本文在词块理论的基础上,就该理论对高中英语翻译教学的影响做出一个实证性研究。研究通过对来自两个平行班的120名高中一年级学生开展为期12周的教学实验,实验前后分别进行测试,收集实验数据,记录实验前词块测试得分与翻译得分,绘出120名学生词块测试得分和翻译得分之间相关性曲线,并且对教学实验前后两个班翻译得分情况进行对比分析。通过该教学实验,本研究试图回答以下问题:(1)词块和翻译能力之间有着怎样的关系? (2)词块教学法是否有助于高中生英语翻译能力的提高?研究发现:(1)翻译能力与词块之间存在较强的正相关。(2)实验班在接受为期12周的教学试验之后,翻译得分情况较控制班有较高的涨幅,翻译准确性有显著提高,从而证实了词块教学法对高中英语翻译教学的作用。通过研究可以看出,采用词块教学法进行高中英语翻译教...
