释意论视角下汉语新闻新词的英译研究

在日新月异的全球化时代,中国的政治、经济、社会等各方面正经历着前所未有的变革。作为反映社会变化的一面镜子,汉语新闻中的新词层出不穷。为了促进更加有效的跨文化交际,汉语新闻新词的英译研究就变得十分迫切也很有必要。汉语新闻中的新词在国际传播中发挥着越来越重要的作用。为了使目的语读者尽可能地达到国内新闻读者理解原文的程度,本研究以国内外十四个新闻媒体上搜集到的新闻新词为语料,以释意论为理论指导,从译者的角度出发,分析新闻新词英译是如何体现释意过程和释意原则的,并进一步总结新闻新词英译的释意过程和释意原则分析中所体现的释意翻译策略。通过文本分析,本研究发现译者在理解、脱离源语语言外壳、重新表达的释意过程中将原文所表达的意义传递给读者。首先,译者将对源语语言成分和隐喻内容的理解与自己的认知补充相结合,其次译者从对源语的删除、概括、建构三个步骤中把握说话人表达的意图和情感,脱离源语的语言外壳。最后,在重新表达源语意义后,译者要确保译文与原文内容的一致性和形式的对等性。此外,本研究还发现译者应尽可能地确保目的语读者达到与源语作者的认知对等和情感对等,以获得意义对等,并且确保译文要忠实于源语作者、目的...
