儿童癌症文章英译汉实践报告

　　近几十年来,我国经济快速发展,人民生活水平有了显著的提高,人们的预期寿命也相应得到提高。然而,癌症这一头号健康问题仍然无法得到有效解决,尤其对儿童癌症问题则更少关注。有关问题应当得到重视。因此,将有关儿童癌症的英语文章翻译成汉语则非常重要,有助于我们对有关问题有更加清楚的认识,使之得到更好的解决。本文是一份英译汉实践报告,原文是选自美国国家癌症研究所（NCI）在其网站https://www.cancer.gov上发布的三篇有关儿童癌症问题的英语文章。报告对翻译中遇到的问题及相应解决方法进行分析。有关翻译问题包括对有关医学术语的翻译缺乏规范性、常用英语词语的不当翻译以及译文过分拘泥于原句句法结构。具体翻译策略包括通过搜索网络资源和查找医学词典使有关医学词语的翻译更加规范,根据语境确定有关常用英语词语的意义,根据汉语文本特点做好译后编辑。通过本次翻译,译者进一步认识到自己应该端正工作态度,拓展知识,提高网络搜索和辨别能力,不断提高专业能力和翻译能力。希望本报告能有助于深化对医学翻译,尤其是儿童癌症文本翻译的理解。
