《旅途生活：通勤如何改变城市生活》（第一章）翻译实践报告

　　本报告选自大卫·比塞尔所著的《旅途生活:通勤如何改变城市生活》第一章。该章以作者在码头的经历为开头,介绍了培养通勤技巧的时间、如何培养通勤技巧。译者翻译此书的目的就是向有通勤困难的人们提供有效帮助。译者还列举了大量实例,希望能为本类型文本的翻译提供借鉴。根据彼得·纽马克的文本类型理论,该文本属于信息型文本。本报告列举了翻译中遇到的主要三种困难:长句中的定语或状语修饰语,含平行成分的对话,以及含多种时态的句子。译者以卡特福德的翻译转换理论为指导,通过分析原文、查阅资料,采取增译、分译等方法完成了翻译项目。本报告分为五部分。第一部分是对翻译项目背景、意义以及报告结构的简要介绍。第二部分则是介绍作者并分析原文。第三部分描述了翻译转换理论及其在报告中的运用。第四部分列举了翻译中的困难及对应的解决办法。第五部分则回顾了在翻译项目中的感悟,总结了还待解决的问题。
