概念整合理论视角下的英汉死亡委婉语语义整合机制比较研究

委婉语在英语和汉语中都有着悠久的历史。委婉语的主要心理基础是禁忌语和礼貌语。在谈论某些话题或使用某些词汇时,大多数人都采取不同程度的“回避”形式,以避免引起不快、不满或伤害感情或关系的可能性。为了表达思想和交换信息,人们大多会采取迂回曲折的方式,使用一些模糊的或愉快的、礼貌的词语,这种语言现象就是委婉语。概念整合是心理空间的基本认知运作,它利用网络和动态认知模型来建构意义。任何概念的形成都必须经过心理空间与输入信息的整合过程,这也是储存在人们心理空间中已有信息的激活过程。简而言之,概念融合可以构建相互反映、以多种方式融入新空间网络的心理空间网络。基于这一认识,Fauconnier和Turner提出的整合理论的中心是概念整合网,即概念整合网络。从概念整合角度对死亡委婉语进行分析,可以让我们对委婉语有进一步的了解,同时更加深刻了解概念整合理论。通过本研究,本论文有如下发现:1.本文以概念整合理论为框架,探究英汉死亡委婉语的语义整合机制,试图为委婉语的解读探索一条有效的路径;2.论文从宗教、军队、航海、戏剧、社会阶级等多思维代表性的维度,建构英汉委婉语的语义整合机制,把无形的语义加工过程有形...
