中国学者英语二语学术著作前言语篇情态研究

　　系统功能语言学认为,语言具有三大元功能,即概念功能、人际功能以及语篇功能。其中情态是体现人际功能的主要途径。因此很多学者对情态做出了诸多研究,例如政治语篇中的情态研究、学术语篇中的情态分析等。在学术语篇中,对于情态的研究主要集中于摘要、正文、致谢等方面,而对于著作前言的情态研究却很少,尤其是二语著作的前言。本文将对学术著作前言中的情态系统进行分析,试图发现学术著作前言中的情态特征。前言,作为学术著作的一个重要部分,是指作者就自己的写作意图、写作内容等向读者进行的简介,其主要目的是介绍和推荐自己的书,具有很强的对话性。因此,前言可以看作是一种情态资源丰富的文体。本研究采用韩礼德的情态系统理论为理论框架,在情态类型、情态取向和情态量值这三个变量中对学术著作前言的情态进行分析。本研究运用基于语料库的分析方法,对学术著作前言中的情态进行研究。本研究的语料选自语言学与应用语言学领域以母语为汉语的英语二语学术著作30部,及英语为母语的英语学术著作30部,时间设定在2000年至2015年之间。每部著作均由一位学者完成,且前言由该作者所著。本研究提取60部著作的前言部分,建立两个小型语料库。运用定性与...
