交通公示语图文关系的多模态研究：符际翻译视角

　　本研究从符际翻译视角对交通公示语的图文关系进行了多模态研究。随着信息技术的高速发展,多模态文本已经取代了文字文本的主流地位。长久以来语篇分析研究主要集中在对文本结构、语法规则、语句等的研究,而其他可以表达意义的模态,例如图片、声音、颜色、空间等大多被忽视了。20世纪90年代国际学界掀起了多模态研究的热潮,而中国这方面的研究则起步较晚。第一个将多模态理论引入中国的学者是李战子,她在2003年时将克里斯和勒文的视觉语法进行了介绍。自此以后多模态研究在中国得到了长足的发展,许多学者,例如胡壮麟、朱永生、张德禄等都对多模态研究的理论基础以及研究方法进行了探讨。同样,从北京奥运会举办以来,对公示语的研究主要集中在对公示语文本中英翻译中存在的翻译错误的纠正,而图像作为公示语的主要组成部分之一却很少得到重视。故而本研究旨在利用符际翻译理论对公示语进行多模态分析,发现公示语中图片和文字模态实现三大元功能的方式,以及公示语中图文符际翻译的特点。本研究旨在从三种元功能的角度对交通公示语的图像和文字进行研究。其次,由于交通公示语中文字和图像一一对应,所以本研究也对交通公示语中图文符际翻译的特点进行了研究。本...
