《英语：意义与文化》（第一、二章）翻译实践报告

　　本篇学位论文基于安娜·威尔兹彼卡2006年出版的《英语:意义与文化》第一章和第二章翻译实践所撰写的翻译实践报告。《英语:意义与文化》共有九章,作者通过大量的实例论证向读者阐述“自然语义元语言”理论及“文化脚本”法对语义描述所具有的卓越功能。《英语:意义与文化》试图证明基于自然语义元语言的新范式使我们有可能深入探讨盎格鲁英语中所蕴含的文化意义。文中作者阐述了复杂且具有丰富内涵的文化概念、文化关键词、语言规约等,并使用大量脚本作为例证对比中西方不同国家人的不同思维的方式。原文语言正式规范,句子间从属关系明确,逻辑性强,语篇衔接自然规范。因此,这本书内容的复杂性和英汉文化、语言之间的差异,给译者带来了很大的困难。在本次翻译实践中,译者分别学术著作中词汇的翻译、学术著作写作特点的翻译以及语篇衔接的翻译进行分析。为了更好地完成本次翻译实践工作,在翻译过程中,笔者以泰特勒翻译三原则为指导,并采用合适的翻译技巧（增译,减译,转换等）,恰当地翻译原文。全文主要分为五个部分,第一部分为翻译任务描述,简要概述了翻译实践任务的背景、翻译任务的特点以及翻译任务的意义。第二部分为翻译过程描述,主要介绍翻译过程,...
