《长乐路—“小小上海街，都市大梦想”》（第一至三章）翻译实践报告

　　本文是基于笔者自选翻译项目《长乐路—“小小上海街,都市大梦想”》前三章内容进行英译汉翻译活动及翻译报告。Street of Eternal Happiness:Big City Dreams Along A Shanghai Road一书是由美国一位广播媒体界的驻华记者Rob Schmitz所著,于2016年5月17日在北美出版,目前没有译本。该书主要讲述了作者所居住的长乐路上的人和事,体现了本地人和外地人在上海追逐都市之梦的真实生活,其中不乏酸甜苦辣。本书是研究中国社会阶层、市井生活和民众习俗的重要材料。同时本书展现了老外眼中中国人的都市生活现状,其中从历史、政治、经济和文化习俗方面都有所涉及,并为从事跨文化研究领域的外国学者提供借鉴。本书属于纪实类报告文学,难度中等。笔者历时三个月完成了本书前三章的翻译实践,共计一万五千字的初译,后用一个多月的时间完成校对和翻译报告。本翻译研究报告包括四个部分:第一个部分是引言,主要包括对原文的背景信息、翻译报告的目标、翻译报告的意义和翻译报告的组织进行概括总结;第二个部分是译前准备,主要介绍了作者对文本的分析、专业术语的整理、使用的翻译工具和改译...
