关联理论视域下的科普视频节目Exurb1a英汉字幕翻译实践报告

　　科普视听作品是科普类文本与视听作品相结合的产物。作为视听作品的主要形式,目前视频节目正日渐变得更受欢迎。同样地,作为科普视听作品的主要形式,科普视频也日渐成为大众科学普及的重要途径。随着网络的发展,国际科学、科普交往更为密切,越来越多的海外科普视听作品被字幕组翻译成中文。虽然这类译作的数量逐年稳步上升,但其翻译质量并不能令人满意。由于对视听作品的字幕翻译研究多集中于影视娱乐领域,科普字幕翻译理论和实践发展仍然处于初期阶段。因此,有必要对科普字幕翻译进行更深入的研究。Exurb1a是海外视频分享网站上的一个著名的科普节目。笔者从该节目中选取了六个科普视频作为本翻译项目的原材料,其内容涉及物理学、生物学等。选取的作品内容相对简单而不失专业性,风格诙谐幽默,较能代表科普视听作品的特点。本文以关联理论为理论基础,从认知处理努力和语境效果上对笔者的Exurb1a节目英汉字幕翻译实践进行研究。论文首先描述了翻译实践的译前准备、翻译过程和译后工作,其中重点分析了科普视听作品的特点和对科普字幕翻译的要求。随后介绍了 Gutt等人的关联理论,着重介绍了其中的重要概念如明示—推理过程和语境。论文主体部分以...
