IT通讯文本汉英机器翻译译前编辑策略探究

　　近年来,机器翻译技术发展迅速,译文质量不断提高,适用的文本类型也越来越多,机器翻译也因此被广泛应用于各领域的实际翻译场景。IT通讯领域的文本是机器翻译译文质量较高的文本类型之一,同时通讯翻译市场需求高,机器翻译作为提高翻译效率的重要途径,对满足市场需求有很重要的作用。本文基于作者在某通讯技术公司实习期间的翻译实践,首先对IT通讯领域文本的中译英机器翻译译文进行质量评估和错误分析,总结语料中存在的九个错误类型:错译、漏译、冗译、术语错译、术语拼写错误、语法错误、风格指南错误、表达问题和措辞问题;其次针对不同的错误类型提出相应的译前编辑策略,如对界面词或术语进行预处理;调整句式结构;通过增补信息、明确逻辑关系、删减冗余信息、使用标点符号等方式消除歧义等,并在案例分析过程中对所提出策略的有效性进行验证。本文有助于译员通过译前编辑优化原文本,规避机器翻译的一些错误,提高机器翻译译文质量,减少译后编辑的工作量,从而提高翻译效率,适应市场需求。
