英语分级阅读对初中生英语阅读动机的影响

  诸多的学者立足于学生已有的英语阅读动机,发现中学生的英语阅读动机密切影响着他们的英语学习效率,但较少的研究将英语阅读动机视为因变量,挖掘英语阅读动机是如何被影响的。英语分级阅读是指读者根据自身的阅读水平和兴趣爱好,选择适合的阶梯型系列读物来进行阅读的方法,旨在提高读者的阅读能力和长远发展。分级阅读在英语为母语的国家中已有近三十年的历史。而随着英语分级阅读在国内中学的普及,调查该阅读模式能在多大程度上提升中学生的英语阅读动机将深化老师和学生对英语分级阅读的认知和实施,提高学生的阅读动机,有效培养学生的阅读素养。本文探讨英语分级阅读对中学生英语阅读动机的影响。本研究以来自湖北省水果湖第二中学初一年级某班的54名学生为研究对象。该班学生在英语老师的带领下,从初中入学时的零基础开始进行英语分级阅读的学习和训练。他们在进行英语分级阅读前和进行了英语分级阅读三个月后分别完成英语阅读动机的前测调查问卷和后测调查问卷。研究者同时对该班英语老师和四名学生进行深入访谈,以更好的了解英语分级阅读如何对学生的英语阅读动机产生影响。整体上,本研究从问卷调查和访谈中所获得的数据,旨在解决以下三个问题:第一,初中生...
