研究生议论文写作中的论据使用研究

　　议论文是一种采用说理与论证的方法来阐述作者观点的文体,常出现在写作教学及各类英语考试中,其写作目的是让读者接受作者的观点,它由论点、论据和论证三部分构成。之前针对英语议论文的研究主要集中在语篇特征（结构）和语言特征（语言）等方面,而针对英语议论文写作中论据使用质量的研究较少,以研究生议论文写作文本作为语料的研究也并不常见。从议论文写作的内容层面来看,除了论点和分论点外,论据的呈现对同样会影响一篇文章的质量。因此,本研究基于Packer&Timpane（1997）的7种论据理论探究研究生议论文中论据的使用与议论文的整体质量之间的关系。本研究以来自某重点大学的40名研究生的英语议论文写作文本为研究语料,首先根据Packer&Timpane（1997）的7种论据分类对学生议论文中的论据进行了标注并对学生作文进行总体评分,接着再运用统计分析软件对学生议论文中论据使用的类型进行定量分析。然后,对不同水平的学生作文进行对比研究以揭示高低分议论文在论据使用上存在的差异及呈现的问题。最后对议论文中论据的质量进行评估与分析,从而揭示学生处理论据的能力和意识。在对研究生议论文写作中论据的使...
